It has gone really dark outside ie it's 0948am and the street lights have come on. Very very spooky.

on a more realistic note - we still have thunder (a really long rumbling one that hasn't stopped for ages now) and a shit load of rain.

rainydaysarebad · 28/06/2012 14:17

It's so muggy here I feel like I'm breathing in water. Feeling very sticky. Yuck.

molepom · 28/06/2012 14:18

It IS very sticky rainy. I've got all windows open trying to get a breeze (and fresh air) though the house.

Mrsjay · 28/06/2012 14:20

JammySplodger · 28/06/2012 14:24

I'm thinking it's going to be a very soggy school run in a bit, and sweaty in waterproofs.

BadDayAyTheOrifice · 28/06/2012 14:46

There has been a tornado reported in Newbold Verdon (Leicestershire) and there are lots of floods dotted about. Hail has just started again, flippin' heck, the noise!

Mrsjay · 28/06/2012 14:50

Ambrosius · 28/06/2012 15:13

Watford is very boring. Just muggy and sweaty and rank. We better get a storm, I want to stand in the rain and cool off!

Ohyoubadbadkitten · 28/06/2012 15:15

Lots of threads in the weather section about this, but can I draw your attention to this important one regarding the continuing severe hail threat.

Ohyoubadbadkitten · 28/06/2012 15:19

general discussion about the storm systems

BadDayAyTheOrifice · 28/06/2012 15:23

The suns shining now and its boiling. Isn't British weather great.

mangomadness · 28/06/2012 15:24

zombie I lived in stretton for most of my life, until recently. I thought it was thundering here again until I looked out at the blue sky and twigged guard basset snoring in his basket! I'm in the countryside just out of shrewsbury.

IamtheZombie · 28/06/2012 15:52

We're 8 miles from Stretton if you go over the Edge and drop down at Wall. I'm learning that there are quite a few Salopians here.

Yikes! Someone has died after being swept away by flood waters near Ludlow. I hope DZH gets home from school safely.

LentillyFart · 28/06/2012 16:00

Ahah - it IS the Saharan storm causing the dust

Dust of Doom

Google sent me to the David Icke forums first - what a very odd bunch of people they are!

Latara · 28/06/2012 17:09

Indiana Jones & the Dust of Doom....

It's windy, cloudy, humid & sunny here in the SW - aka typical British changeable weather.
The only thing you can rely on about the British weather is that it's unreliable :)

SoleSource · 28/06/2012 17:12

Windy, cloudy and was very humid here post storm in B'ham. Make your mind up weather!

Dawndonna · 28/06/2012 19:07
