To refuse to feel guilty that I have hurt DD's teddy bears feelings?

By failing to give him an invite to my birthday party? Surely I can invite who I like to MY party and those not invited should not be sobbing furry tears into their little jumpers and demanding extra honey to stave off their sad unhappy feelings?

I don't know how you can bear to live with yourself

TheCunnyFunt · 23/06/2012 18:32

Shock Outrageous! Yabvu. I wouldn't be able to even bear thinking of not inviting the poor chap.

Petsinmypudenda · 23/06/2012 18:33

To good to have Bears at the party?
You are a un(bear)able snob

Petsinmypudenda · 23/06/2012 18:33

Eh where did those bracket come fromHmm

TheVermiciousKnid · 23/06/2012 18:33

Is he a pombear?

WorraLiberty · 23/06/2012 18:34

I hope they hold a picnic on the same day and you lose all your guests Hmm

WorraLiberty · 23/06/2012 18:35

If he's a pombear that's even worse

He'll be feeling crushed.

DashingRedhead · 23/06/2012 18:36

Just sounds like a ruse to get extra honey to me Grin

NettoSuperstar · 23/06/2012 18:36

You meany big meaner.
You're going to hell.

JustFabulous · 23/06/2012 18:38

glenthebattleostrich · 23/06/2012 18:44

AnAirOfHope · 23/06/2012 18:46

TheVermiciousKnid · 23/06/2012 18:54

DashingRedhead · 23/06/2012 18:55

Oh dear, I shall issue an extra invitation forthwith. I had no idea his little furry heart would break so badly (apparently he needs a new packet of tissues)

Only trouble is she has a lot of soft toys what if they ALL want to come - I'd have to provide honey (for bears), carrots and lettuce (for rabbits), hay (for ponies) and various miscellaneous snacks for others. Oh and does anyone know what moshi monsters eat? Gulp

OP posts:
HoneyDragonWearingLederhosen · 23/06/2012 19:23

Depends. Will they bring you a present each?

SixFeetUnder · 23/06/2012 19:26

Unfortunately I do have a great knowledge of exactly what Moshi Monsters bloody eat which I'm trying to forget so my brain can be used for important things like which of the local shops has the best deal on wine I know far more about all things Moshi than any adult should have to

And invite the bear but he's not to tell his friends

ontheedgeofwhatever · 23/06/2012 19:27

That's a thought Honeydragon - things may be looking up Grin

OP posts:
TodaysAGoodDay · 23/06/2012 19:27

How about if he arrives bearing gifts?

DashingRedhead · 23/06/2012 19:28

But when the others find put afterwards how will the OP deal with the backlash?

TiggyD · 23/06/2012 19:30

They never invite people to their picnic. I believe there is even a threat of violence if you don't go in disguise.

TodaysAGoodDay · 23/06/2012 19:30

Just think, you could serve tagliateddy at the party Grin

TheVermiciousKnid · 23/06/2012 19:33

Let's hope he doesn't bear his bottom.

Pan · 23/06/2012 19:37

I'm afraid you are at polar opposites on this, he will be in a black depression and be grizzly all day.
