I'm watching a docu-soap on BBC 3 and feel so sorry for her older daughter - who has to be behave like a parent. It's awful.

Can you explain further for those of us not watching it?

Calling a baby Papaya should be illegal. As should making your oldest DD miss a vital A Level exam so you can have yet more plastic surgery and she can look after your 7 week old baby.

Alicia Douvall has two daughters - a 16 yo and teeny baby.

Older DD - Georgia, has been left holding the baby - Papaya, while her mother has more plastic surgery in the States. Douvall was not at all bothered by the fact this involved Georgia missing A level exams.

Douvall clearly has mental health problems and I suspect that Georgia is essentially her carer. Joking aside, it's very sad.

I saw an article in the daily mail online where she claimed that despite her daughter missing an important exam and having to drop the subject, it was worth it because she got her plastic surgery and the most important thing was a happy mother!

Terrible mother, both the children should be taken into care, the older girl helped through her schooling and the younger adopted before this disgusting narcissist ruins her life too.

Was it a real exam or a mock? An Bowing head in shame that I have read about this.

Chocoroo explains it perfectly! Her 16 year old daughter was made to miss an A Level to fly to Boston to look after her baby sister while Alicia had a nose job. After her discharge from hospital, the teenager had to care for the baby and her mother. She isn't allowed to see her friends and has to do photo shoots etc. I feel so sorry for her.

I bet that kid can't wait to leave home.

It was a Photography mock, but it sounds like the work would have counted towards her grade iyswim.

On the plus side, she is openly breast feeding despite numerous breast surgeries. Currently on screen hand pumping.

Georgia is amazingly level-headed, selfless and intelligent. A normal parent would be extremely proud.

I didn't watch it but have read bits and bobs about her I over the years. The best plan for her eldest DD would be to study hard, do amazingly well in her exams and go to a university very far away. Her mum is a toxic nut job.

Douvall has also managed to go backwards in years too as she has been 32 for at least 4 years now!

It's hard to say without knowing her or watching the programme, but I will point out in her defence that being a plastic faced narcissistic "reality television personality" is how she makes her living, so actually her nose job probably counts as working to a certain extent.

She should hire proper childcare then.

Georgia has turned out normal, balanced and lovely though. Her parenting can't be THAT bad. Unconventional, but not neglectful.

watching her with my 14 yr old daughter and we are both so sad for the children. She is a really dangerous person. Just so damaging.

Has she had the nose job then? Is it still swollen or is it meant to look like that? Not a clue.

I have a feeling that she didnt really have much involvement in her eldest daughters raising.. it was her parents who did it.

I read somewhere that Georgia has a god-father who pays for her school supplies etc and is a stabilising influence.
