to think that people who choose to have more children whilst living in social housing shouldn't expect to be given a bigger place?

I am a member of another pregnancy forum and there is a woman there who has just had her 5th child (by choice). Neither her nor her partner work and she is complaining that the council will not giver them a bigger house (she is in a 3 bed). All the other members are sympathising with her but I don't understand why. Surely if you choose to have a child when you know your home is not big enough, you shouldn't expect the council to give you a bigger one, especially when it is sought after subsidised housing?

we will not get child benefit no as the new government are removing it from higher rate tax paying families.

doggiemumma · 10/06/2012 22:34

I think we should all stop picking on missgrohl, she is clearly backed into a corner and i wouldn't want her to feel bad because of this nest of vipers.

LineRunner · 10/06/2012 22:34

doggiemumma · 10/06/2012 22:36

you have a 25 year old son do you? oh, ok then, that makes all he difference.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 10/06/2012 22:36

Because I have never met a grown up who writes like you.
And I know lots of grown up women with low education attainment.
They do not use weird ......... and u instead of you.

Children and teenagers do that.

Why would a grown up write like that? It doesnt make any sense.
But then nor do you.

missgrohl · 10/06/2012 22:36

i suspect u all think im about 15 for some reason

missgrohl · 10/06/2012 22:37

LineRunner · 10/06/2012 22:39

I've never met a grown up claiming to have a degree that writes quite like you do, missgrohl.

doggiemumma · 10/06/2012 22:41

I had a dyson, i hated the fucker - I have a hetty now, she's much better. Sometimes i just use a broom though. I think if i got a goat i could train it to eat the carpets.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 10/06/2012 22:45

I love my Hetty. She is pink and she smiles at me.
My new steam mop has an extra compartment for detergent.
I am beyond excited.....I hope it comes tomorrow!

doggiemumma · 10/06/2012 22:47

usualsuspect · 10/06/2012 22:48

I bought a hoover from a car boot for £3 [tightarse]

LineRunner · 10/06/2012 22:49

How does it smell?

Goofus · 10/06/2012 22:50

usual better to be a tightarse than feel all entitled to a brand new one.

OhDoAdmitMrsDeVere · 10/06/2012 22:52

This is my 5th steam mop. I seem to kill them Sad
I have high hopes for this one though.
Oh that feeling of not just cleaning but sterilizing my floors.
Bliss

Doomfinger · 10/06/2012 22:52

I skipped a lot of posts, did anyone mention that RSLs are not just for people on benefits? Anyone can live in an RSL AND some have minimum requirements (such as key personnel).

usualsuspect · 10/06/2012 22:54

It smells ok , dp spent a lovely afternoon cleaning it, hes odd like that
