Hi,

Sorry to talk about another site, but I was confused thinking NM and MN were similar. I know now that NM is full of bright colours and pictures, and this one is blue. I've been on NM for 5 years and used to go there just to seek advice, and look for penfriends. The worst thing I did was drift off to their coffeehouse area. I wanted to get to know others a bit. I didn't think I did anything wrong at first until I posted. I discovered a massive clique of people who all agree with the same thing. They targetted me with online verbal. I wud come away from NM and let things cool, then go back again a month later.

I got bullied on NM by 50 of the members. I tried ignoring them and made lots of reports, pressing the Report button. Either admin did something or didn't. Because of this the admin started picking on me! I later found out they've had me monitored for some reason. I didn't do anything wrong. I was a bit scared when admin sent PM's harasing me for posting on their Lounge forum and daring to disagree with others. I was never rude or nasty.

One male poster on NM stalked me and tried to locate me elsewhere. A group of others threatened to kill me, ect. It was all really grubby. The worst thing I did again was go back! I returned 3 months later. This time the members might've forgot me but admin certainly didn't! They banned me from using their general forums. I asked them why and they didn't answer except tell me they were checking into my personal info, monitoring my activities, get this - not wanting me to use their report buttons and they didn't want me expressing an opinion.

I felt quite scared b/cos they have all my personal info, such as address, phone, real name, LO's name, my d/o/b/ and IP, ect. The admin (i mean all of them as they all signed it) sounded threatening and warned me off using their site again. I asked them what is it I've done wrong in the first place. No answer. I realised it was best to leave the site.

Later I found out one of the members who was quite nasty to me could be a TV celeb who also uses the site and her avatar looks like her. I didn't know this when I posted on it.

What I talked about on there getting into troble on NM? Saying I'm celibate and a single mum who doesn't need a man in my life. That was all

jeez Zombie thread

Proudnscary · 22/09/2012 10:39

I think it is toe curlingly cringey, for grown women to attack each other and indulge in an 'us v them' gang mentality.

Do posters from each site really 'infiltrate' each other's sites to have a go at one another? Jesus Christ.

Netmums is not for me but, uh, so what?

Honestly, we are just people posting stuff on the internet every now and then.

SuePurblybilt · 22/09/2012 12:28

I wonder if Nethuns get Zombie threads everytime someone searches MUMSNET BULLYING BJITCHES there?

Gallavich · 10/04/2017 10:14

Sarahjayne why would you resurrect a 3 year old thread about netmums to ask about bottle lids?

CaoNiMartacus · 10/04/2017 10:31

Why would you resurrect on a "netmums smells" type post to talk about implants?! Confused
Not going to get much of an answer here, are you....start your own thread, maybe?

Thawkins10 · 20/10/2017 21:09

New here and didn't relieze i had posted on this thread. And didn't know how to delete my comment sorry for being inappropriate to this post.

treeofhearts · 20/10/2017 21:36

You shouldn't ever use your real details on an online forum. I have one email accounts under my real name which I use for work and anything official. Everything else is linked to one of my many fake names and accounts.

OstentatiousWanking · 20/10/2017 21:41

Are you being serious right now?

OstentatiousWanking · 20/10/2017 21:43

Oh ffs.

tiffanysfanny · 20/10/2017 22:02

I also think that there is more to this story, but I have to say I was once a member of a private forum which started when we "branched out" from another, bigger forum. All was well to start with but I managed to really upset somebody by phrasing something clumsily (it wasn't THAT bad, I swear! 😂😂😂😂😂 isn’t this like Mn legend 😂👏

tiffanysfanny · 20/10/2017 22:03

I can see you came back 😂

AllRoadsLeadBackToRadley · 20/10/2017 23:03
