i am really annoyed with this. i moved from my last home for my neighbours parking their vehicles in our spaces and it got really nasty. we have since moved to a new development where there are set rules about what you can and cant do re: parking and vehicke types its ones of the reasons i bought the house. My new neighbours are basically flouting them even though they have been warned by the developer.

aibu to expect for people follow the rules that are set, and not take the piss.

its been handed to the solicitors now i hope this can be resolved ir ill be moving again.

Oh dear, oh dearie me

Poor OP

Now look, if you had moved to the cuntry then you would have been bothered by the sheep tup, the bellringers, the morris men, the hemhem agricultural odours, the cows lowing, swifts screaming, haymaking til midnight, quarrying explosions, and Oh Em Gee the HEDGEHOG MATINGS

You have had a LUCKY escape, lucky, I tells ya

sixlostmonkeys · 21/05/2012 20:03

Stop looking at the van. Just move away from the van.

Grin

(or....put a P&C sign on the car park) (they're not elderly people are they? the van owners?)

Well then, with the greatest of respect, you're just going to have to suck it up.

Or you'll never be mortgage free because you'll have paid out ten fortunes in solicitors fees.

PickledFanjoCat · 21/05/2012 20:03

But it overlooks a car park. And cars and parking seem to wind you up? So I think it was a bad move.

New estates can be a bit cramped when everyone moves in and wants to park.

Would it be at all possible to provide a photo of the car park?

Also, if you are moving abroad and only returning periodically, are you sure it's worth all this bother? Honestly?

Your going to give yourself a hernia.

PickledFanjoCat · 21/05/2012 20:04

Your solicitor is probably just humouring you and thinking of the dollar.

SauvignonBlanche · 21/05/2012 20:05

Bloody rule breakers, I bet they don't put a capital letters at the start of sentances either. Hmm

Olympia2012 · 21/05/2012 20:06

Why didn't you look at the plans and notice the plot layout and parking bays?

Why did you choose a house with a parking bay opposite?

Our site plan is detailed down to showing where trees and lampposts will be located!!!

A car park is ugly whatever is in it. If things like this cause you distress it's not the best place to buy a house?

Olympia2012 · 21/05/2012 20:12

So 'the rules' stipulate that vans are not allowed.... Only cars?

Pandemoniaa · 21/05/2012 20:13

bothered by the sheep tup, the bellringers, the morris men

Oi! Leave the Morris Dancers alone.

Olympia2012 · 21/05/2012 20:14

I can't understand why you would choose a nice house with a car park for a view?Confused

PickledFanjoCat · 21/05/2012 20:14

Those tweeting bird fuckers!

PickledFanjoCat · 21/05/2012 20:15

It's like buying a house opposite a farm when you have an aversion to tractors. A house next to a school when you hate kids.

Not, a good idea.

fuckarama · 21/05/2012 20:16

I don't understand why I was deleted.

I didn't say the op was the thing I said that got me deleted.

I said she sounded like the thing I said that got me deleted.

I don't think saying "you sound like a Silly Numpty Of Basingstoke" is a personal attack.

If I said "you are a Silly Numpty of Basingstoke" that would be, as I understand it.

Confused
hermioneweasley · 21/05/2012 20:17

Is anyone else enjoying the wonderful juxtaposition between fuckerama's name and her clearly extensive technical and legal knowledge of the subject?

fuckarama · 21/05/2012 20:17

So not only are you not that thing I said that got me deleted, it's also not nepotism and the golf club set.

You are going to get a nasty shock some day when real life jumps up and smacks you right between the eyes.

WenTheEternallySurprised · 21/05/2012 20:22

RandomNumbers I actually do know someone who complained about cows lowing. Grin
