i am really annoyed with this. i moved from my last home for my neighbours parking their vehicles in our spaces and it got really nasty. we have since moved to a new development where there are set rules about what you can and cant do re: parking and vehicke types its ones of the reasons i bought the house. My new neighbours are basically flouting them even though they have been warned by the developer.

aibu to expect for people follow the rules that are set, and not take the piss.

its been handed to the solicitors now i hope this can be resolved ir ill be moving again.

I'm not saying the covenant should be ignored.

But from scarlett's posts there seems to be confusion between the developer, housing association, tenant and Scarlett about exactly what is allowed, when it's allowed and how long it's allowed for and under what circumstances.

The only way to get a definitive answer is to have sight of the deeds. There may well he wriggle room. There usually is, if you look hard enough - it's not red tape, it's pink elastic Grin

We live in a develop, ent with a 'no vans' rule. One guy parked his van there and a busybody resident took it upon themselves to leave an anonymous note warning him not to.

Now he parks at the entrance to development just behind the yellow lines and no one can see to get out.

It's not him we are all annoyed at now, to say least

We has loads of covenants on our first house. We broke them all one by one, starting by practicing archery in the yard and then I set up a butchery in the kitchen and an trade stall in the living room. It was a tiny house and garden and the horse and cart did keep blocking the public area...

Bronze..did a bolt of lightning not come out of the sky and strike you?

Shame on you. He should park on the main road and ride a horse and cart up to his car Angry

bronze · 22/05/2012 08:02

No that would have been breaking the rules as it was thatch and God doesn't break covenants you know Grin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/05/2012 08:04

Yy plenty of room inside for Jesus and the Apostles, the Ark of the Covenant, the Commandments (weren't they written on stone?). Probs you could fit Moses and his basket inside, and strap the Burning Bush on the roofrack.

God would love a VW Transporter.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 22/05/2012 09:36

I bet He HAS one

Presumably they would need a load of fishing gear too, and a maybe a few banners for marches

SarahStratton · 22/05/2012 10:34

And a big coolbox, full of loaves and fishes, LeMarch

I'm sure the Apostles won't mind sitting on each other's laps. Or they could get a little trailer and sit in that.
