Haha, realise I am probably going to get shot down in flames for being self-indulgent and attention seeking, but hope for a few answers also....

I build up a picture of MNets in my head from what they write, how they write and the subjects they post on. Sometimes I come across an opinion on a thread from a poster that really suprises me because Otto doesn't fit with the impression I had of that poster and so my poster persona evolves. I love eclectic 'odd' people in RL, so I really enjoy not being able to pigeon hole people

I have always been a bit fascinated by how other peoples interpretations of words and actions can be very different from the intention. And also how people can be very different depending what company they are in....

So, it occurred to me today, MN is a perfect opportunity to ask alias of people 'what do you think of me?' (if anything)!

For the benefit of those baffled and giving an inexplicable fuck.

Warren met an unpleasant poster called dp at a meet-up.

There was an interchange.

Warren made many jokes about it. Dp got incensed and called her a skank which was very funny given her own behaviour.

Ever since then Warren being a skank has been one of those MN jokes like the bat, naice ham etc etc.

I'm not sure if they too are passive aggressive.

More to the point TSC has taken a loathing to me which is what you are actually seeing.

I have no idea why.

That is the last I shall say on the subject because it is frankly embarrassing.

I think it is very easy when some posters are more familiar with each other than others realise; for some posters to take offence on their behalf where none is intended by the giver or receiver.

It's also easy, charleymouse for someone to seize on anything they can as an excuse to have a pop. They just need to be a bit more careful and accurate for it to succeed.
