Haha, realise I am probably going to get shot down in flames for being self-indulgent and attention seeking, but hope for a few answers also....

I build up a picture of MNets in my head from what they write, how they write and the subjects they post on. Sometimes I come across an opinion on a thread from a poster that really suprises me because Otto doesn't fit with the impression I had of that poster and so my poster persona evolves. I love eclectic 'odd' people in RL, so I really enjoy not being able to pigeon hole people

I have always been a bit fascinated by how other peoples interpretations of words and actions can be very different from the intention. And also how people can be very different depending what company they are in....

So, it occurred to me today, MN is a perfect opportunity to ask alias of people 'what do you think of me?' (if anything)!

Actually not that keen on any posters being horrible to anyone. To paraphrase Pagwatch - tell someone they are being unreasonable fine, but no excuse to be a fucker

i did love Pag's recommendation that you can say "i knew someone who said stuff like that..they were a cunt" but not call someone one.

Sorry I didn't mean we are not friends . Just meant that even people on here who I am on fb with I don't consider really friends. might feel fond of them or like them though

bejeezus I think of you as sensible and slighlty needy. Needy only due to the starting of this thread.

I have unfortunatley got some people I do not really like and I am sure if I met in real life would not like them due to their postings. I partly feel this is unfair as I do not know them and also feel is fair as they can't post somethings without being a bit like their opionions. IYSWIM.

I do sometimes recognise people even after name changes due to stylee of posting/opionions etc but have no issues with it. I am quite boring with names and stick with the same/similar ones.

I think IO misrepresent myself either on here or in real life as when I have met MNers thay have told I am nothing like they expected. Not sure if I am nicerer or worserer though.
