Bit of background. I have faced a number of bereavements in recent years. (including mum,dad and a sibling)
I have also experienced pregnancy loss.
I have read post where people are complaining that their mum gave their dc sweets of whatever and thought "well at least you have a mum". In my defence this was about 2 weeks after mums death.
However, I would never actually post this on a thread because I could appreciate how op may feel.
Yet, I have seen a number of threads recently where people have done just that.
AIBU to think that although understandable this shouldn't be done.

And to be honest, I'm not sure why being lucky enough to have a MIL or mother means you need to allow them to walk all over you.

Sometimes I'll get halfway through what is meant to be a lighthearted thread about someones outrageous Great Aunt, before a woe-monger chips in with their 'at least you have an ancient relative..'

There then follow 30 post commiserating with the ramdom Auntless one. It is very irritating. Although I've seen a few examples recently of the random one being totally ignored, so perhaps people are becoming irritated en masse

Paiv, and it makes you wonder whether when they were alive the person making the "be grateful" comment spent all their time being grateful? Or whether every once in a while they had a small rant?

Sorry you have had a hard time OP itsounds really rough but everyone has issues in their lives- both big and small. People come on here to chat, have a moan/vent, share experiences and get advice about things and it helps a lot of people make sense of what is happening in their lives and also have a laugh too. What might be a big issue to one person someone else will think "for Christs sake what are you moaning about". I would just take it for what it is and if you don't like some of the threads don't read them.
