To wonder why all the people on Jeremy Kyle are so strange.

I'm no super model myself, but why do these people have bad teeth, bad skin, bad hair, loopy eyes like they're not with it? Many a time I have heard some of them refer to their partners bad hygiene too. They talk roughly and the women wear clothes that are too tight for them.

Ive been at home alot recently and am catching episodes of it all day. I am thoroughly shocked to say the least. Are these people really a true portrait of Britain's working class? I know it's stupid TV, but I am genuinely intrigued by these people and often sit mouth wide open at the stupid things they come out with and their stories in general.

I think these Jeremy Kyle type TV shows are television of the lowest common denominator. I think a lot of the people on JK are very vunreable, although they might seem gobby and mouthy I believe they are people who live at the very margins of society and perhaps dont realise that they're primarily targeted by JK type shows to be cheap titaliation for the masses.

He himself, whenever I catch a glimpse (normally on the TV in the tearoom at work, i'll turn it off if nobody else is in there) talks to them like they are sub-human. It's a modern version of the gladatorial arena, he's vile and so is his TV programme

The people exploited by this type of show are usually very poor, uneducated, unsupported by anyone with any sense and appear to have mental health issues. It is sad that they are so easily taken advantage of. It is even sadder that they exist in the first place. There is a section of society that has failed/been failed. Whilst the Daily Mail etc jumps around disgusted at the state handouts they recieve I kind of sit there thinking 'poor bastards' . Would I swop places with them for a 50 inch tv Hmm? Would I fuck... Call me fucking Dave is intent on making things worse for them. I don't understand why we can't have more compassion for thoses who are to all intents and purposes 'socially disabled' Sad .That whole sections of people are so damaged reflects shockingly on us all.
