All you lot with your neat bobs are uptight and repressed. Long hair is the best for men, women and children!!

It depends on the condition and style I think

Some women's hair can start to look a bit 'Witchy' as it loses its lustre

Some men can look like they're clinging desperately to their lost youth (especially when going bald in front and tying a little grey pony tail at the back!)

Some kids just look scraggy when their hair is too long

YANBU Mine is vair long and I love it. DHs was long when I met him. DSs will be long when it grows (and then he's getting a mo) Grin

My hair is long for me but only because I haven't got the time or money to get it cut as I normally would do. I have to faff with it to get it to look half decent & wish I could have it cut short.

When I was a teen I had a grade 1 all over & must admit I'm tempted to go back at times!

YABU. My hair looks shite long and I get more action double looks when it's short.

Some of us can carry off a crop. Some can't. Sorry about that.

Mine is down to mid-thigh and DD's is almost waist length (3yo). Much easier long than sort, except you can't wash it in a hurry (I always leave it to dry naturally, to keep condition nice)

I have long hair - about mid back, and love it. I also have much love for messy bobs but I sorta have this hang up that at nearly 32, I only have a few legitimate years left of long hair before I end up like Susan Kennedy from Neighbours...before she cut it.

Then I'll get a Lauren Bacall-esque bob but right now it's all about the heated curlers, the high ballerina buns, the French pleats and the backcombed-to-hell beehives Grin

I like long hair especially on little girls, mine is pretty long, I don't suit short hair I had it bobbed once and hated it.

i have long (mid back) dark hair. it suits my potato face. But i covet an elfin face/do like audrey hepburn :(

Can't bear men with long hair. Have told all dp's i have had i would leave them if they grew it. They have also told me they'd leave me if i cut mine. So it seems like a deal!

Dislike children with straggly long hair. Once was on a flight surrounded by sikh women with their long long long hair out. They kept swishing it over me and it was on my arms and in my lap and made me feel sick. Also horrible to feel a strangers hair on you on the tube.

betty i agree, i was going to get mine cut last year and i thought, hang on i'm 35, i've not got much longer to have long hair. So i kept it long, but i know it's days are numbered - as are my long socks :(

I love setting it in heated rollers or having a glam large bun on my crown :)

Having all my life had very long hair i cut it.
Im not suppressed or uptight, its just easier. Get it lopped every 6 weeks, takes less than 10 minutes every morning, love it.

Reason being my age, but mostly that i just tied it up constantly, so didnt see the point in it any longer tbh.

My MIL aged 62 has long lank hair that she can sit on, argues equally that its easier to care for.

Well, I am precious about my hair,. Probably because I will never be able up have a short neat bob ( due to extreme curliness) at my ave a short cut would look like a shampoo and set. So I EMBRACE my long hair!!

I had a bob as a young child (WHY??) and my let me grow it out as i got older, however i have a wierd thing about having hair that covers my ears, also my hair is also really thick so if its short i look like i am wearing a helmet (not the best look Hmm ) so i do have long hair, down just past my boobs, and have quite a long torso. I luff it.

i have long thick black hair, its mi back now and i love it. it does suit me.

i mostly love it as i had short hair growing up as my dad military man that he was and also wanted me to be a boy had mine cut every few months.
so when i was in college in a different state to my dad i took my chance and grew it and havent looked back since!
