to think that now you can't smoke in public places, you shouldn't really be making your roll-ups in them either?

Recently, I've seen a few people doing this, and it surprised me (and when did so many people switch to roll-ups?).

I don't want to see people fiddling about with tobacco pouches and cigarette papers in coffee shops and restaurants. Obviously, if they could smoke them there then it makes sense, but now it seems to me like going into a cafe and starting to make your own sandwich (with no intention of eating it in there obviously).

AIBU? A friend says I am, because if they did it outside "their tobacco might blow away", which while possibly true, hardly seems a good justification to me.

YABU and weird, obviously.

Ah, but do you use a tin or a pouch? Grin

The bright yellow and green pouches look cheap to me. Cigarette packets are designed to look 'posh' with the dark blues and maroons, so why not have more aesthetically pleasing tobacco pouches?

I use the yellow amber leaf pouch.
Maybe they look cheap because they are.
You're BVU Op but very funny too Grin

My sort of cafe if they left drugs on the tables... Would they supply straws for the snorting do you think? Wink

FirstVix · 06/05/2012 12:09

To OP, if you roll them too far in advance they go dry - the paper leaches the moisture out of the tobacco and the smoke is therefore harsher. Many 'rollers' hate pre-made cigarettes as they find them too dry for this reason.

A roach is a rolled up bit of cardboard used in place of a filter (which is the white bit at the end of pre-made cigs).

Sorry, as you were....

i think you are being ridiculous - wtf has it got to do with you if they make their roll ups inside? it doesn't harm your health, you need to find something more interesting to entertain you. fwiw i don't smoke but i see nothing offensive about someone rolling up with a view to going outside to have a snout :)

YABVU OP
It doesn't hurt you, it's not a risk to your health so I really can't, for the life of me, see a problem.
