Ugh. Where is the carefree fun?

OP posts:
pepperrabbit · 05/05/2012 21:47

did the nuns have a van? or did they just stagger down the street with bits of furniture?
awesome.

Tee2072 · 05/05/2012 21:48

It was about the unfairness between a large bag of Peanut M&Ms and a Frys Cream.

I just found the thread.

ScarletLadyOfTheNight01 · 05/05/2012 21:48

I KNOW I'm pissed...I read the title as "pissy prefect people" >_

LoopyLoopsTootTootToots · 05/05/2012 21:48

Nope, holy stagger.

OP posts:
rhondajean · 05/05/2012 21:48

It was, is a bar of frays cream equal to a large bag of peanut m and ms.

In fairness, I think it was meant to be light hearted

LoopyLoopsTootTootToots · 05/05/2012 21:49

Did that one bunfight? I avoided it, strong feelings about confectionery.

OP posts:
McPhee · 05/05/2012 21:49

Grin loving it

MoonlightandRoses · 05/05/2012 21:49

Well, obviously not - the Fry's is far superior, particularly the mint one Wink.

Off to find thread now.

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 05/05/2012 21:50

I saw the title and thought it looked boring. Little did I know.

Wine anyone?

MyDogShitsShoes · 05/05/2012 21:50

"strong feelings about confectionery" Grin

fryscream · 05/05/2012 21:51

Oh the peanut m&m one was me having a moan as DH went to the shop to buy us a treat for tonight and got himself a HUGE bag of m&ms which was about 15 times the size of my treat. I was called childish and pathetic. I was being tongue in cheek (in a way....). Don't get your hopes up....

here

pepperrabbit · 05/05/2012 21:52

My DH is expressing the view that him painting the spare room and the bathroom this evening while I drink wine, eat chocolate and tart around on Mumsnet is "unequal".
Shall I start a thread Grin

LoopyLoopsTootTootToots · 05/05/2012 21:53

Please don't start. This was supposed to be lighthearted. I can't cope with this. don't mention Wispa Gold

OP posts:
WorraLiberty · 05/05/2012 21:54

Frys bars are a load of shit

FACT

M&Ms are much much nicer

pepperrabbit · 05/05/2012 21:55

I used to love those multi coloured segment ones
Do they still make them?

LoopyLoopsTootTootToots · 05/05/2012 21:57

so, back to nuns then...

OP posts:
EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 05/05/2012 21:58

pepperrabbit - how dare he suggest that is unequal. Leave the bastard Grin

pepperrabbit · 05/05/2012 21:59

Well I've already had to tell him to turn the radio down in case he wakes the kids... Grin

EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 05/05/2012 22:03

He is totally inconsiderate pepperrabbit. How do you put up with him??

kingbeat23 · 05/05/2012 22:03

I know I prefer threads about declitting, carefree nuns and itchy vagines to abusive husband threads any day of the week.

Maybe it's the effect of the supermoon tonight?? Grin

LoopyLoopsTootTootToots · 05/05/2012 22:05

Declitting seems to me a bad thing. A very bad thing indeed. MN campaign perhaps?

No to declitting.

OP posts:
EatsBrainsAndLeaves · 05/05/2012 22:06

Just skimmed some of those threads. And I have to say I do think knitting in the middle of a meal is bloody rude!

Grin
rhondajean · 05/05/2012 22:06

What's a super moon???

nutellaontoast · 05/05/2012 22:08

YANBU

Also, there is now so much cake being flung on that thread I am very confused. I keep reading in the hope that things will become clear..... I fear it's a forlorn hope.

kingbeat23 · 05/05/2012 22:09

big moon, closest to the earth, big tides.

Thank goodness you saw the humour in my post as I clicked on another depressingly sad but common thread that I see on here. Was hoping someone wouldn't take it as me being flippant.
