I'll start

I'm jealous of a friend who is a lovely person, but goddammit she has everything

a dh who earns a fortune so she doesn't need to work, kids all at school

she has perfect kids, who are easy going, eat everything and sleep like logs

she has a lovely, but house with nice things in it, she doesn't compromise and go to argos to save a fiver when that's all I seem to do

she has siblings close to her who help out with elderly parents so all the worry and stress isn't left to her

they have 2 cars so she isn't stuck in when the car is being used

I am jealous of her, she is really nice and I'm awful to be jealous, but am human so am admitting it on here

I think jealousy in that context is fine... like, "I like this person, I am happy for them, but dammit I wish I had all that stuff too!". It's when it turns into "Why should that bitch have all that stuff when I deserve it more" that jealousy becomes a problem... so, YANBU. :)

I'm jealous of a lot of people... mostly because I have MH issues and I wish I didn't.

You might be jealous of her and we all have friends we would like to be like and friends we are glad we are not like...but is she happy with her life....she might not be! I haven't got all those things but I'm happy with what I've got! Are you happy with your own life..??

My best friend is exactly like that too, I am envious of the fact she has no money worries and wants for nothing, however I don't envy the fact that she is completely dependant on her husband financially, and I also personally like my part time job so being a full time house wife doesn't actually appeal to me.

No one. If you invite their good stuff you invite the bad too. Goodness knows what crap people are putting up with behind closed doors. Stop comparing the inside of your life with the outside of theirs. I know this is a light-hearted thread, really

I'm jealous of the skinny and all perfectly dressed mums who look gorgeous with no effort.

My best friend is beautiful and successful in the career we both wanted to be in. I ended up having to get a proper job!

Jodie Kidd. I once read that she has 7 horses.

A friend of mine can throw on clothes from Matalan and Primark and make them look a million dollars, whereas I can be wearing something costing ten times that and still look like a sack of the brown smelly stuff.

To be fair to her, she is a model! Think she found her vocation in life there (meant in a nice way). She is lovely, don't begrudge her a thing! Honest

I'm jealous of my cousin but only in the looks department, you know when you're with someone and you just know that you're NOT the pretty one? That's how I feel every time I'm with her

I'm happy to be me though as I know I'm generally happier in my life than she is in hers.

I wish I had her figure and her wardrobe though.

What make it worse is that we both have 2 dc and both times were pregnant together (we're not weird honest) and she got her figure back within weeks whereas I've struggled both times for months with my weight :(

Anyway, I am jealous of my child minder who manages to look effortlessly gorgeous, all of her charges adore and her DH is a bit of a stunner, she is one of the nicest people I have ever met and would do anything for you and to be fair you'd do anything for her too as she's so blooming lovely!

My SIL - I don't know why.... She just seems so perfect. Mixed up with crippling self doubt.

Also, people who live on farms and can spend all day riding horses and cuddling lambs.
