to ask who you are most jealous of?? (and don't really like telling anyone about)

I'll start

I'm jealous of a friend who is a lovely person, but goddammit she has everything

a dh who earns a fortune so she doesn't need to work, kids all at school

she has perfect kids, who are easy going, eat everything and sleep like logs

she has a lovely, but house with nice things in it, she doesn't compromise and go to argos to save a fiver when that's all I seem to do

she has siblings close to her who help out with elderly parents so all the worry and stress isn't left to her

they have 2 cars so she isn't stuck in when the car is being used

I am jealous of her, she is really nice and I'm awful to be jealous, but am human so am admitting it on here

I'm jealous of anyone who manages to keep their house clean and tidy.

It's not even like I have young children at home, they are 10 and 18, I'm just quite lazy and cant be bothered.

I do clean, I just get no pleasure from it and cant be bothered doing all the smaller jobs but I do keep the kitchen and bathroom clean all the time and always up to date with washing and ironing.

I'm also envious of people who have a good eye for decorating and can make their homes look lovely, I'm never happy with mine!

My neighbour . She doesn't work, one kid in private school, one in nursery. Big house, two big cars, holidays, spa days etc. And still she moans about her life !

I bet there is plenty your friend would change. No ones life is as great as it looks from the outside- everyone has worries and problems. Her life sounds vair dull to me. What does the poor woman do?

I am jealous of people who can tan. I can't and fake tan is just wrong. I covet that lovely natural healthy glowy tan some people just get. I don't want a dark tan I just want to look less of a day walker.

I am also jealous of people who have well behaved hair and people who have lovely organised lives. You know people whose dressing tables would be all immaculate and lovely rather than covered in empty contact lens packets and smears of make up. Those people.

Anyone who can just choose to get pregnant and have it happen, basically all the people without fertility ishoos. Sad useless and unproductive as that is, tis true!

Friends whose siblings are all still alive... So that's all of them then. Especially if they are really close to them like I was to my sister.

People who are thinner than me and have more money!!

Seriously thought I am actually jealous of people that have less money than us, are happy just going on caravan/Uk hols and don't really worry about about anything.

I feel constantly stressed, do way too much all the time as I can't say no to helping out with stuff and feel like I can't cope constantly!

Oops - this was meant to be light-hearted sorry!

That's the only thing in my life that really makes me Envy and I hate it cos I'm a nice person really and want to be whole heartedly happy for my friends!

a client of mine's daughter

she is a model for a very posh and trendy clothing store, but also doing her a levels at a v exclusive school

she is 17

spends all her school holidays at her dad's ski resort in switzerland

and drives a sports car with a personalised plate

and is stunning

Envy

i have another client who is stunning, and a lottery winner, I am jealous of her as well

i am also jealous of anyone who owns their own house, as i most probably never will.

and i am jealous of a mum i see at the aquatots group i take DD to who has a small baby (only a couple of months old i reckon) yet is slim and stunning and wears a tiny bikini, no stretchmarks or saggy tummy skin (how? just HOW?)

The cat.
I staggered out to another long day at work, DS went off to his exams, OH had long gone for his commute...it was raining heavily.
The cat stuffed himself, sneaked onto the sofa and went to sleep.
I have never understood why the pinnacle of evolution is supposed to be human, with such evidence to the contrary.

I have a wonderful friend who has money, is stylish, is a fantastic sahm and is gregarious and generous with her time.
I am jealous in many ways.

a friend of mine has 3 absolutely gorgeous kids. Mine, if I have them one day, will have the massive noses and ears of me and DH..sigh..

My SIL she has no formal qualifications, she's not v smart (although not stupid either) yet has managed to walk from one great job that she loves into another several times usually without een having to interview as she is friends with the right people. She has now started her own business an I expect her to be at least halfway to being a millionaire in the next 10 years (by the time she's 40)

She has an amazing figure, a v handsome dh who adores her and they enjoy all the same things and share the same friends.
Both she and her dh dress impeccably and their home is constantly immaculate!

She seems to have the answer to everything. She decides she wants something no matter what it is she always gets it!

Despite her not starting off with much money and never (until now) having a particularly well paid job she has managed to become the owner of 5 properties!

Meanwhile dh and I are struggling to get on at all. We can't even afford a caravan holiday, I work in a job I literally despise, I'm on mat leave now and the thought of having to go back has literally knocked me into depression! I'm 2 stone overweight my tiny house is £20000 in negative equity, and I struggle to keep it even a bit tidy.
My life is shit! Sad

I'm not jealous of anyone. What you see of another's life is what they choose to show to the world, and you have absolutely no idea what they are coping with behind scenes. The grass may look greener, but it often isn't.
