To think caesarean scar should not be irritating after 13 years?.

13 years ago I had an emergency caesarean under general. I've never had any problems with the scar, have had no pregnancies since.

For the last couple of weeks my scar has been itching like anything, it's almost insanely itchy and it was all I could do yesterday in a really serious meeting not to say excuse me and have a good old scratch!

Has anyone else had this? I'd feel a bit silly going to GP about it, but it is showing no signs of stopping and is getting embarrassing!

@CoffeeDog sounds like scar tissue/adhesions. You need to go have physio or some sort of gentle massage. Maybe Bowen therapy. I had the same but in my abdomen. Very painful. You could rub it gently yourself once a day too.
