I read your NN as 'A large glass of fred'

That is all I have to add

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:48

It's all finger food nowadays.

OP posts:
AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 22:49

Are you for or against cutlery?

SecretNutellaFix · 17/04/2012 22:50

Explain?

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 22:51

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:51

thatisall · 17/04/2012 22:51

Who's Fred?

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:52

I'm sure Fred would have impeccable table manners!!!

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 22:52

I know a cat called Fred. His table manners are appalling!

NormanTheForeman · 17/04/2012 22:52

What's wrong with forks? Do you favour only knives and spoons? Confused

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:54

Enough about Fred!! Who will join me and stand up for the right of a knife to be utilised correctly

OP posts:
AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 22:54

I guess you could eat most food with a spoon ?

thatisall · 17/04/2012 22:54

Im so never coming to your house for tea

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 22:55

Have you ever tried to eat spaghetti with a spoon?
Bloody difficult!

thatisall · 17/04/2012 22:56

Imagine soup without cutlery
eww

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:56

Forks and spoons should not be used for cutting. They are making the knife redundant.

OP posts:
AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 22:56

Short pasta like penne or spirals could be spooned up though

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 22:57

You can drink soup from the bowl if need be.

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:58

I despair of dinner party guests who shovel with their knives.

OP posts:
AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 22:58

Or pour it into a mug, Bonkey

BaronessBomburst · 17/04/2012 22:59

I take it we are talking about a pea knife here?

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 22:59

Penne and spirals can be forked

OP posts:
Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 23:00

Pasta doesn't need a knife

OP posts:
BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 23:00

Ahh...good thinking Orange

BaronessBomburst · 17/04/2012 23:00

It's easier to shovel with a cake slice.
