Well am I?

I bet ER uses the spork to chow down the beans when she's in K F C

BaronessBomburst · 17/04/2012 23:16

I have a set of fish knives (and forks). It was a bugger trying to lift the bones out my trout with the soup ladle.

AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 23:18

What about corn on the cob holders? Are they essential?

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 23:19

Spork for baked beans Shock

Why have I never thought of this?

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 23:19

Orange In the case of corn on the cob, you grab it and much like a rodent!

Holders are not essential!

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 23:20

Corn on the cob holders are essential whilst in a harvester restaurant only

Annoying orange, they look dangerous

Q. Are blunt knives useful? Discuss. My DH thinks a spoon would be more useful

OP posts:
AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 23:24

Grin bonkey.

Those dog ones should be for saveloys

AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 23:26

It's harder to spread butter with a spoon though. Blunt knife would be better for butter

thenightsky · 17/04/2012 23:26

I'm with the OP. Knives are there to be used correctly. Grrr at all these fork-in-right-hand people. Cutting and shovelling with the thing. Pick up your fecking knife FFS.

thatisall · 17/04/2012 23:27

I don't mean to brag but I can eat a full three course meal using just my little finger ninja

BaronessBomburst · 17/04/2012 23:27

Butter knives should be blunt. Tell your DH to spread butter with a spoon then!

BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 23:27

I actually find it easier to spread butter with a spoon!

I am also a 'fork in right hand person' .

I do use my knife in my left though!

BaronessBomburst · 17/04/2012 23:28

x-post with AnnoyingOrange. :)

AnnoyingOrange · 17/04/2012 23:29

My cat can eat a three course meal without using his hands at all Shock

Just as well, since he doesn't have any hands

BaronessBomburst · 17/04/2012 23:29

I'm a 'fork in right hand, toddler pinned down with left' eater. Grin

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 23:30

BonkeyMollocks, I do hope you're not a butter scratcher

OP posts:
BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 23:30

Wtf is a butter scratcher?

Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 23:31

Cats don't have forks, so they don't need knives

OP posts:
Alargeglassofred · 17/04/2012 23:32

Butterscratcher is the person who leaves crumbs in the butter, probably after using the knife incorretly

OP posts:
BonkeyMollocks · 17/04/2012 23:33

But I don't use a knife....
