Yeah, I'm not that bothered. I think we should get rid of most categories tbh, just have AIBU and 'whimsical musings', but that's just me.

I think people should try and keep to appropriate topics but it's up to each individual to consider the audience they want. Nothing more irritating to me than the thread monitors turning up and hyperventilating because a thread about school isn't in 'Education' and a thread about washing isn't in 'housekeeping' etc etc

And I like AIBU. But I think it should probably be renamed the Rants topic.

I agree there are waaaaay too many topics, GetOrf.

I don't mind the moaning about it but I think it is a snub to the op and subsequent posters when MNHQ move a thread.

I'm sort of in. A thread on AIBU has to be vaguely AIBUish, but as long as its not blatantly a chat topic, I'm am prepared to let it go with good grace.

And by 'moaning', I mean the posters who point out that it is in the wrong place. They are usually comical. MNHQ moving it is not.

What I find amusing is when someone takes it upon themselves to tell a poster off for posting in the wrong section....but then they join in the thread anyway?!

Although I must admit I use chat for almost everything I post. It's due to laziness, there are just so many topics now I can't be arsed to scroll through them all to see which one is most appropriate. I am sure we don't need even half the amount of topics that we have.
