doctordwt I completely agree wit what you're saying and although I'm sure she does pick up on my true feelings, outwardly I do display an easy going attitude about it...which is why i kinda offloaded on here :-S. I told her I'd heard wonderful things about this lady (which I have) and explained that gf would be even more nervous about the meeting than dd as she would know how much dd means to her father.

Of course yabu - surely the wedding is an exciting thing for your DD? My LO's were thrilled when we got married, unless there are some issues surrounding her relationship with your fiance? Surely she has already gained a stepdad and the wedding is just cementing that?

You come across as a bit controlling tbh and in any case how can you stop him from introducing her when HE feels the time is right. Calling him an a*hole fo something like this makes you seem a bit unhinged. Sorry, prob not what you wanted to hear but I don't see the issue at all
