Damsel no they won't cos MN are deleting messages. \Mine only advised the OP to f off and it's gone Confused. I've seen much worse in the past!

It was the first time I've done that and the first time I've done a Biscuit. Now it's the first time I've had a comment deleted!

ledkr · 15/03/2012 15:55

perceptionreality · 15/03/2012 15:57

load of bollocks - i bf dd and ate carefully all through pregnancy but she still got severe food allergies, i may as well of tucked into peanut butter sarni's when i had craved them after all

buttonmoon78 · 15/03/2012 16:17

Hello MNHQ?

Why have I been deleted? I don't understand? If I don't know why then it might happen again!

Hecubasdaughter · 15/03/2012 16:26

I agree with what ratapeaker said earlier.

My MIL took ill when my SIL was a month old and was in a coma. SIL was 6months before she got home. Should SIL have been left with no nutrition for 5 months to avoid being sued? Your suggestion is reduculous OP as long as the baby actually was fed I don't see the problem.

SoupDragon · 15/03/2012 16:31

I can't work out why I was deleted either. Suggesting that people with daft ideas should shut up isn't a personal attack.

lurkinginthebackground · 15/03/2012 16:39

Yes I think you should sue.
Also sue if you don't have a happy stable family life. Or if your parents split up or even worse are not married!
Sue too if they don't provide 5 a day, take you swimming with dolphins, take you on holiday even year,or drive you around in a brand new luxury car.
Also sue if the house is too dirty or too clean as this could affect your ability to build up resistance to disease.

bubblebutt · 15/03/2012 16:43

What a lot of hog wash what will you sue for next early weaning.

buttonmoon78 · 15/03/2012 18:29

Soup I didn't even do that! I offered the OP a biscuit and told her to f off. That's not personal either! I'd tell anyone with the same idea the same thing Wink

Happenstance · 15/03/2012 18:50
Biscuit
scarletforya · 15/03/2012 19:04

OP

SoupDragon · 15/03/2012 21:22

Ah... telling someone to fuck off does count as a personal attack. That I do know.

bringmesunshine2009 · 15/03/2012 21:25

You can have my first Biscuit

MyLittleMiracle · 15/03/2012 21:27

That is fucking ridiculous sorry, i felt dreadfully guilty cos i was UNABLE to breast feed and desperately wanted to, i felt really depressed and like a useless worthless mother, who was no good at anything! And it reading things like these that make it a whole lot worse! Thanks to all this people end up ill and feeling inadequate!

MadeInChinaBaby · 15/03/2012 21:29

undercoverPrincess · 15/03/2012 21:31

Is there a bunch of people coming on here trying to get it shut down? Confused
Biscuit

Richocet · 15/03/2012 21:40

I can see I've hit a nerve here - to put it mildly. Ahem

Seeing as less than 2% of mothers have an actual medical reason why they can't breastfeed, perhaps the rest of you should be diverting your anger at the health professionals that have failed to support you. Maybe then bf rates would increase and there'd be a few less mothers with one less thing to feel guilty about.

Sparklingbrook · 15/03/2012 21:41

Yes Ricochet I assume you can call it 'mission accomplished'. Nerves hit and people upset. Lovely.

undercoverPrincess · 15/03/2012 21:42

I BF my three children for 8weeks, 3weeks, 4weeks then I switched to FF, do I get sued a bit, a lot or not at all?

Richocet · 15/03/2012 21:43

And all those with the "I ff and it didn't do my kids any harm" bollocks. It's the same as the "my gran smoked 100 a day until she was 87 and it didn't do her any harm" or those that did bf but their child ended up with xy and z, imagine how much worse it could have been had you not bf?!

OP posts:
Richocet · 15/03/2012 21:44

What makes you thing that was my intention?!

It was a thought I ended up with this morning, that I shared to get opinion. Isn't that the idea?

OP posts:
Richocet · 15/03/2012 21:47

It depends if they develop health complications I suppose, and also whether the fault lag with you, or health professionals for lack of support. It might even lie with the formula marketing companies (The new SMA marketing campaign springs to mind).

I don't know... I hadn't thought of the details, just thought it was an interesting, if controversial, thing to discuss.
