I saw a nice top whilst out today, and i do like it alot, but i would also want a white pair of jeans to go with them. I like the top a lot, but i am not sure about paying £35 for it. I am trying to save for rent in advance and a deposit, but it looks like the council will have to house me. I am going for a family meal on sunday as well and have nothing to wear.

Is £35 a stupid amount to spend on a top? And should i just get a different colour to avoid buying a new pair of jeans?

Think i really need someone to say, no buy it for yourself...but doubt you will. Talk me into/ out of it please. So undecided!

muminthecity · 22/02/2012 22:21

I have three bras. A work bra, a slounging around bra and a sex bra. Why would one need any more than this?

My mum always said I'd get saggy boobs if I didn't let them go free range now and again!

I have my mucking out bra, my best bra, my scratchy bra and my old minging bra for when the others are smelly in the wash.

Wasn't there a thread a few weeks ago about how often one changes one's brassiere?

Who is the OP?

FreddieMercurysBolero · 22/02/2012 22:31

And so it begins...

PoohBearsHole · 22/02/2012 22:32

I only have 2 bra's. Do you need more?

And don't put your bra's in the washing machine. They will lose the underwire and become uncomfortable. Wash by hand. Simples no more bra issues.

I saw a very nice house I would like. But I didn't buy it. Was way out of my budget.

2ombie5layer · 22/02/2012 22:37

I have loads of bras. Most of them never get worn.

Mine never have free range during the day. Hate the feeling of braless boobs.

bringmesunshine2009 · 22/02/2012 22:37

I have one bra that fits. Pah!

2ombie5layer · 22/02/2012 22:37

pooh I machine wash my bras dont often lose the underwire.

ExitPursuedByaBear · 22/02/2012 22:41

It's strange, I find, how my bra keeps me warm. On the odd occasion I have gone without, I have been decidedly chilly.

Rindercella · 22/02/2012 22:41

The underwire came out of one of my bras in the washing machine once. I thought the machine was buggered and that I was going to have to spend a fortune on replacing it or go on freecycle. Haven't learned my lesson though, and still stick my bras in there when I--remember.

MyCatHasStaff · 22/02/2012 22:43

You need a bra-bag from the Poundshop (other cheap shops are available). Doesn't stop the wire coming out, just stops if being free-range in the washing machine.

Rindercella · 22/02/2012 22:48

Oh ta. Perhaps I can buy myself one for Mother's Day? Grin

ChaosTrulyReigns · 22/02/2012 22:51

To hang on the door?

CreepyWeeBrackets · 22/02/2012 23:00

You can't lose a wire if such garments are washed in a saucepan.

mamaggie · 22/02/2012 23:00

Is that the done thing these days then? Like a wreath at Christmas? A poundshop bra-bag hanging on the front door? How marvellous. Grin

The restaurant is a family members treat to me for missing my last birthday, and because i need it. Hardly a big deal, someone is buying my meal for me cos i have helped them. I went to the heart specialist with them, cos they cant take everything in or else they forget (had an aneuysm (brain) and this was a side effect of it but lucky to be alive). And i put them on the right path to losing weight, cos they are very overweight, and need to before they have a further op on the aneurysm as although it is stable, it is increasing so needs to be dealt with and medical science has moved on so is possible to do. GYM AS I HAVE ALREADY SAID IS ON PRESCRIPTION SO IS FREE! So why shouldnt i go, or at least it is for the first twelve weeks!
