12th feb 2012 channel 29 E4+1 1pm

I mean......I just couldn't believe what I was hearing at 1pm in the afternoon...she was speaking to a parent and actually said to her " your'e bloody kidding me!" and " your'e bloody joking" !!!!

okay, if this was after 9pm at night it wouldn't matter too much....but it's 1pm in the afternoon and im watching this programme with my 6 year old !! who promptly turns to me and says "mummy that lady is swearing!!" Oh dear !! well im sorry Jo FROST , we know you are only human but you've just gone right down in my estimations......you spend all your time getting naughty children to contain themselves but you can't even do it yourself!! needless to say my complaint to ofcom has been registered.....AMIBU ???

YABU. Bloody is not a swear word. Or if it is, it is the mildest of all.

Sposh · 12/02/2012 14:00

Your 6yr old will have heard much worse in the playground! Grin

I think there are a few sweary type words in Tracey Beaker. There should be, anyway, because I'm pretty sure that children's homes are not all kittens and flowers.

FoxyRoxy · 12/02/2012 14:00

Bloody isn't swearing. Yabu.

I wouldn't be offended as bloody isn't a swear word to me.

However as a child it was as it was is to my DM. (who swears quite a bit now, especially when drinking!)

Wheresmycaffeinedrip · 12/02/2012 14:09

Considering the kind of things she has to put up with and the idiot parents who shoot her down at every opportunity I think that resorting to only the word ' bloody' is an achievement x not sure I could be so restrained x

ChippingInLovesEasterEggs · 12/02/2012 14:11

E4 aren't bound by watershed anyway are they? --Even if it was a proper swear word & frankly, I'm sure the edit the other bits as no sane person could deal with parents this fucking useless and not swear - properly==

Kayano · 12/02/2012 14:11

Lol. What a bloody joke.

Was it the one where the mother lived with her parents and let them do everything and moaned about gettig her own children up and dressed??

Because she deserved a lot more than 'bloody' lol

Sparklingbrook · 12/02/2012 14:11
