The rrp is 49p which gives the retailer around 18% profit on return depending on where they get them from. . 40p is cheaper than I have seen ever and I'm a sales rep for mars (on ml) Did the mars bar have a bar code on it? If not it could have been split from a multipack. There are some 4 for £1 packs around at the moment.
