For humour though op, before you give the amazing 40th present, give him a half eaten tube of primula or similar. That wold be funny. Disclaimer I appreciate its the type of joke which may backfire.

Surely the moral of the tale is that it is better for couples to talk, and more importantly listen, to each other if they want to resolve problems, than to go on to an internet forum to slag their partners off?

Wow Nesbo! thanks for that enlightening piece of marriage guidance there.I bet Relate are quaking in their boots.It's also great to have an internet forum on which we can gauge our own thoughts and reactions with other people by asking AM I BEING UNREASONABLE.
