Who?

KittyFane · 23/01/2012 18:09

Who?

Winkly · 23/01/2012 18:10

D'you mean Chemmie Allcott?

LeBOF · 23/01/2012 18:10

Yes, just lovely. I can take or leave the programme, but Chummy needs her own show just not Miranda.

SqueezeMeBakingPowder · 23/01/2012 18:11

Do you mean Miranda Hart's character off 'call the midwife?' Because if so, then yes she's just adorable!

HopeEternal · 23/01/2012 18:11

I thought she was magnificent last night. I've never been a particular MH fan but this is showing a whole other side of her.

SqueezeMeBakingPowder · 23/01/2012 18:12

I love Miranda!

kreecherlivesupstairs · 23/01/2012 18:13

DD is currently watching it for the umpteenth time. MH is fabulous. She is kind, sensitive and caring. Daft as arseholes, but all the forementioned words.
I don't normally like her, but she is very good in this.

Tigresswoods · 23/01/2012 18:14

She was marvellous!!!!Grin

CokeZeroAddict · 23/01/2012 18:15

I thought she was absolutely wonderful. Best thing in it and worth watching for alone

letsblowthistacostand · 23/01/2012 18:15

I love her, I loved the bit where she says "it's coming out ass first."

springydaffs · 23/01/2012 18:16

that's the one squeeze. I completely heart her. Loved the breech birth scene, particular [sternly] "Quiet for the mother please!"

KittyFane - also one of my favourite films/books

She was brilliant but I thought she was very much being 'Miranda' so am a bit Confused by people saying they don't normally like her.

springydaffs · 23/01/2012 18:18

Breech birth made me well up! She was amazing!

KatieMiddleton · 23/01/2012 18:18

I have been looking for an excuse to revive peely wally as a phrase and Chummie used it last night! Tis only a matter of time before it becomes common parlance once more. You mark my words.

springydaffs · 23/01/2012 18:22

I always cry when there's a birth on telly in a complete mess watching one born every minute

OP posts:
KatieMiddleton · 23/01/2012 18:24

poorly or sick. Off colour

MissBetsyTrotwood · 23/01/2012 18:27

I'm surprised I saw anything of that breech bit, especially the last bit as I was blubbing so much. I love that she bought a smart red bike for Jack.

Northernlurker · 23/01/2012 18:29

Ooooh yes - fantastic character.

worzelswife · 23/01/2012 18:44

I heart her too.
I am also feeling peely wally today. Pukes everywhere Sad Wish she could come and stroke my hair and make me laugh at the same time.

Was that tmi?

shesparkles · 23/01/2012 18:49

I KNEW there was something I was supposed to watch last night!

SometimesIquestionmyownsanity · 23/01/2012 18:49

Is she going to get together with the doctor - I do hope so!

missnevermind · 23/01/2012 18:57

ohh I thought it might be the policeman at first.

MissBetsyTrotwood · 23/01/2012 18:57

Mmm, the rather hot doctor. I heart lots of the characters already but more than anything this programme makes me HEART the NHS!
