To think that quoting past threads/quiches on MN does not prove you aren't a troll?

You know when someone says 'name changed but not a troll - missing toaster, poo troll etc'. It doesn't really prove anything, does it? Any lurkers could read all that and still be a troll of some sort, no?

Am bored, can you tell? Grin

They went to a Night Cloob I believe.

AbsofCroissant · 19/01/2012 10:14

27 Hully? No?

Ooh, a date at a night cloob, or would discoteque be a more appropriate term?

BarryStar · 19/01/2012 10:21

Perhaps it was a dance hall? Was Freddie famous at the time? I did so lurve Freddie ...

Pagwatch · 19/01/2012 10:26

Ahhhh

Pagwatch · 19/01/2012 10:35

How old are you then abs? If you think me and hully are 27 and 35.

AbsofCroissant · 19/01/2012 10:38

Ooh, a corsage. In a nightclub. How, unusual.

So was this before he came out? Or were you his "date" in the way my Mom was a beard for a photographer in the late 60s. If you met her, you'd realise how insane it is/was.

Hullygully · 19/01/2012 10:39

Face it Abs, you like hanging with the Olds.

You're like, sad.

Hullygully · 19/01/2012 10:40

Abs is young, Paggy.

Proper young.

She needs our guidance and attendance at her French Yiddish SA wedding.

AbsofCroissant · 19/01/2012 10:43

I did say on a thread in chat about "being a teenager inside" that actually I was an 85 year old called Florence who's retired to Florida and plays Mahjong all day.

It's all becoming so clear.

TheVermiciousKnid · 19/01/2012 10:44

I remember being 30.

I discovered my first grey hair just before I turned 30. I was horrified. I've not had another one since, I think it was just teasing me. Grin

So, if you can be wistful can you also be wistless? Confused

I really must stop procrastinating ... :(

AbsofCroissant · 19/01/2012 10:46

I had my first grey hair at 23. I was GUTTED.

I'm still mostly wrinkle free, so there is some hope.

Pagwatch · 19/01/2012 10:48

Yes, the climate in Florida is so perfect for warming my cankles.

He was not out out. I knew but didn't care really. I was a huge fan and ge was all quiet and charming.

Hully are we taking her in hand to help her through lifes bitter beardy challenges. Can I be like a mentor? I don't want to be a great aunt or a mumsnet mum.

Pagwatch · 19/01/2012 10:50

I went grey really early too. I had strands. Early greyness is a sign of deep thinking. Me and abs anyway. Knid thought a bit but then decided against it as a process

TheVermiciousKnid · 19/01/2012 10:55

That explains it. Grin

TheLightPassenger · 19/01/2012 10:55

this thread has been a revelation to me. not about sockpuppets, but about Jim Robinson's stellar US career post neighbours, I always thought it was Mike (Guy Pearce) who was the roaring Hollywood success.

AbsofCroissant · 19/01/2012 10:56

Yes, Pag can be my mentor.

How did you get the date in the first place, as I would like to get a date with George Clooney. Preferably involving a vacation to his house in Lake Como

StickAForkInMeImDone · 19/01/2012 10:56

For the last 5 years I have found a grey hair in January. Just the one, and no tohers for the rest of the year. Does this mean I only think deeply once a year?

BarryStar · 19/01/2012 10:58

Where did you meet him Pag? I am in envious mode again. My life is so boring. Although last week I did bump into our 87 yr old ex-builder who kissed me and said I was charming. That's quite interesting isn't it?

I am resolutely ignoring all grey hair, despite my friend telling me that I should put "a rinse through it" as grey was so ageing.

BarryStar · 19/01/2012 11:01

Abs, you need to go and hang around all your local coffee vending venues and wait for George to show.

Hullygully · 19/01/2012 11:02

I developed a thidk grey streak at 18. The Mallen Streak. Now I am silvery white and unbelievably wrinkled (dissolute life)

I don't think I'd be any good as a mentor. I'd just say, Well, if you really want to...

Hullygully · 19/01/2012 11:02

Barry, you need to create opportunities.

AbsofCroissant · 19/01/2012 11:05

I do drink a lot of coffee. DP's parents have a nespresso, so you reckon if I hang around their nespresso machine he'll appear?

George is looking very defo more salt than pepper these days (not to be confused with the girl rap outfit - rap is a type of music the young people listen to, Pag and Hully. It's like poetry, with beats. And swearing. A lot of swearing). He must have had a MAJORLY dissolute life.

Hullygully · 19/01/2012 11:09

How old are you Barry?

Have you always been Barry?

JaxTellerIsMyFriend · 19/01/2012 11:18

Lol @ abs Salt n Pepper. I reckon Pag and hully (&me) remember them. Grin

Now, lets get to Freddie. He was just amazing. Sadly never got to see Queen perform 'live' big regret of mine...

Brian May told me that my puppy was stunning. Wasnt quite sure if he did indeed mean my gorgeous little puppy or one of my boobs. Confused Probably the dog...

BarryStar · 19/01/2012 11:19

Hi, no I was someone else before Barry, wish I hadn't chosen this name now. I'd forgotten at the time of choosing that I used to rent a room in a house with a man called Barry who had some Very Peculiar Habits.

I'm in my 40's Hully, so old enough to have been around the block a few times!
