sorry I havnt been on here long, so didnt see any previous threads. A few years ago a 2 year old was killed in a local supermarket car park by her dads own car, he couoldnt get a parent and child space. Im not saying the readon she died was because her dad couldnt get a parent and child space but who knows. So to me the point of a parent and child space is to make it easier to have a safer place to stand your child while you shut the car door etc.
