Asda give you a penalty? Grin

So you get another go?

She shoots....she scores, straight in the back of the motorcycle bay!!!!!

PossetFeatures · 28/12/2011 21:43

whomovedmychocolate- I will be trying that the next time I go shopping!

Sparklingbrook · 28/12/2011 21:44

Don't take your babies or toddlers shopping. Sorted.

ChimesTrulyRing · 28/12/2011 21:44

I have lovely swishy hair SueP.

I do not like it getting Monica-ed.

Actually what you should probably do is not use the car park and just get your spouse to sit in the car, in front of the supermarket in the loading bay (extra points for making sure you are obscuring a pedestrian crossing) with the CD player blasting, while you wander around wibbling over not being able to get organic kumquats for little Harvey's supper. Hmm Grin

Spaces....they are for the little people (and I don't mean kids either).

JjandtheBean · 28/12/2011 21:45

"crapparkarama zone"

Grin it may be the alcohol talking but that, thats fucking funny.

reelingintheyears · 28/12/2011 21:45

SuePurblybilt

Quite.

JjandtheBean · 28/12/2011 21:46

CTR shocking, take up the drop off/pick up point.

Leave the kids in it for extra points.

SuePurblybilt · 28/12/2011 21:47

She can't leave her hair behind, Sparkling.

I think people with high heels, good hair and babies should get priority spaces. Anything else is selfish begrudgery.

But Sue what about those of us with fat arses, crap hair, flat shoes and no baby. We need the extra space too Sad

WinterWonderlandIsComing · 28/12/2011 21:48

I have a disabled four year old so not strictly a baby or toddler in terms of age or size but quite like a young child. On a rare better day DH will park a bit further away in a P&T space to free up a disabled one for people in greater need.

We could use his blue badge whenever we like to be honest since his photo is on the back and not seen or displayed. But we don't because we are not complete cunts.

If I ever pass my test and I am without my son I'll be the person at the Siberia of the car-park reversing into a parking space with at least three spaces either side where nobody can see and then walking to the shop because walking without DS is a bloody novelty and pleasure no matter what the weather.

ChimesTrulyRing · 28/12/2011 21:48

SIOB, wmmc, I have seen that in action.

People who sit in their cars in the P&C spaces, and do not leave the car.

Have they no respect?

BabblesandCunting, I'll be chinning the judge if yow go to trial bab.

Sigh, my ambition is to be a White van man. WVM would LAUGH IN THE FACE of parking bay hysteriA.

tigerlillyd02 · 28/12/2011 21:50

whomovedmychocolate Good point! No idea though. I only came across them by chance when it was really busy and I was driving in circles for a space. It's a bit of car park cornered off and was quite surprised. I've not seen this enforced anywhere else before. There were signs warning that if your car did not have a child (not booster) seat in it you would be issued with a fine. Next time I go I'll see if it mentions taking the seat in the store :)

JjandtheBean · 28/12/2011 21:50

Wwwooah!

Hang on, what is the 'age' deemed appropriate for these spaces?

4 isn't too old is it? Surely.

I'm still breastfeeding my 4yo he's far too young and precious to risk using a normal space or to give cows milk

Sparklingbrook · 28/12/2011 21:51

In our local car park if you park over the lines they take a photo and fine you. White van men especially. Wink

SuePurblybilt · 28/12/2011 21:51

Stickafork, people with fat bums and shot hair must take the Tunnel Of Shame to Asda. No matter what supermarket car park you think you're in, the Tunnel will take you to Asda.

SuePurblybilt · 28/12/2011 21:51

Shot? Shit hair. Shot hair would also be bad.

LordOfTheFlies · 28/12/2011 21:52

Oooh I knew this would not go well.

Can I weigh in with:

The People Who PARK IN THE RECYCLING AREA

There's a car park for ober 1000 cars, but there's a barrier, so they'd have to get a pay ticket.

So no. They park in the recycle area. It has room for 4/5 cars.
Today there were 3 cars, parked really badly. I had to ask someone to move.
The 3 cars were occupied, maybe people waiting? I have known cars to be empty left there.

I had a bootfull of bottles/jars. Our refuse collection doesn't take glass.I cannot park in the main carkpark and walk across with bags of bottles. Maybe I should, and drop a bag. Then make them wait while I clear it up.

JUST FECKING PARK IN THE CAR PARK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE YOU LOAD OF CHEAPSKATES.

As you were.

tigerlillyd02 · 28/12/2011 21:53

maryz I've never seen a parent and child space but parent and baby/toddler spaces. All the ones I've seen specifically mention babies and toddlers and not children in general. Don't yours where you are?

I've never actually seen anyone "abusing" the system, but then I don't pay much attention.

Some people just bounce from one thread to the next, missing the point, don't they? Not naming no names.

Is there a humour version of HRT?

ChimesTrulyRing · 28/12/2011 21:55

I often find it's young blondes in cheap sports cats who are the main infractors.

Probablly the type to have actual loo brushes at home
