What time did you start and how many units - honestly - did you consume on the BIG DAY?

2 bottles of Cava and half a pints worth of Margarita. How many units would that be?

Started at 3pm with dinner, finished midnight ish

Started about 2, had one glass of champagne, and I think 3 glasses of wine.

A tiny glass of wine (because it was the dregs in the bottle) and 1 and a half glasses of champagne. Ordinarily Id probably drink a couple if bottles of wine but my sitution is different this year (breastfeeding, co-sleeping etc).

lubey, I guess about two weeks worth based on government 'guidelines' - how do you feel today? We started earlier but finished earlier but stuck to champagne/wine. Prompted by another thread where outarge is expressed over 2 guests consuming 2 beers, 1.5 bottles of wine and liqueurs - I did not think that this sounded excessive so was wondering what was the 'norm'!

2 glasses of champagne with my dinner.

That's it.

I'm a grown up, I like the taste of a nice drink but I don't feel the need to punctuate every special occasion with an over indulgence of alcohol.

Half a glass of wine with lunch (breastfeeding). Planning on mulled wine this evening when DS is in bed.

Not that much, a few g&ts over the course of the afternoon & then shared a bottle of white wine with DP over xmas dinner at 7 pm. We didn't finish it though, left a glass or so. DD is teething & fractious, & we were knackered as she's up several times in the night & up for good at 5:15 am at the moment. We went to bed at 9, not feeling merry at all. Bah.

Shared a bottle of champagne (turned into Bellinis, so mixed with peach juice) with DM, then shared a bottle of red with DF over lunch. Long gap, then had a large brandy which lasted the evening.

Half a bottle of cava, 1/4 bottle of port, and I have a headache this morni g (lightweight).

Nil! Nada. Had PIL up. FIL is a recovering alcoholic-hard slog, but 2years dry now, so don't feel like we should drink and be merry in front of him IYKWIM.

Was badly in need though, especially when my toxic mother turned up

Absolutely none - have severe acid reflux and other health issues have have been told to totally avoid alcohol :(

Feel fine today started at 11am finished at 9pm

None. I don't like drinking in the day, and feel so vile that all I wanted to drink was tea anyway

I had a pint of cider in the pub before lunch
Half a glass of wine with lunch
Half a glass of wine at aunts house
Then 2 ciders at home
Went to bed just after 9pm was so tired! (up very early with dc's)

Half a glass of bucksfizz with breakfast

Glass of champagne at midday
Sherry before lunch
2 glasses of wine with lunch
More champagne in the evening.

None . The day was so hectic and crappy that not even alcohol could help. .
I have to start anti-B's on tuesday for a week and they're the ones you can't drink with at all.

Rarely drink these days, although I may indulge slightly more at Hogmanay...

Had a Bailey's in lieu of milk in my breakfast coffee, then no more till DH popped a Merlot @ 5 to have with dinner, one glass of that which I wasn't keen on. Drank more tea and coffee tbh.

Still feel tired today.
