I mean, he wasnt really was he? Somewhat rubbery looking if you ask me

I'm sure I read somewhere he had terribly bad breath too ...

I shold explain I've been dipping in and out of Teacher's Pet on TV (Doris Day and Clark Gable) Grin

Give me Yul Brynner/Steve McQueen/James Stewart etc. anyday!

nooka · 22/12/2011 04:54

I like voices best, so James Mason has always done it for me. The female equivalent is I think Joan Greenwood.

I did like Yul Brynner quite a lot as a teen Grin

CatPussRoastingByAnOpenFire · 22/12/2011 07:04

Ooh, ooh, I've got another! ... Stewart Granger. Quite yummy! Although I do like David Niven. And Errol Flynn. Errors house was called Cyrrhosis by the Sea!

forehead · 22/12/2011 07:41

Fellatio . i forgot about Howard Keel, he deffo was ALL man, even when he was older.

Meltysnowflakes · 22/12/2011 07:56

Howard Keel has the unfortunate effect of making me want to vomit.
Its as a result of him kissing Miss Ellie on Dallas. To my 13 yr old eyes, it was just 2 old people doing icky stuff.

Paul Newman had such pretty eyes.
Richard Burton's voice gets me every time. I have a CD am old gimmer of him doing Under Milk Wood. I get completely lost in it.

SantasCave · 22/12/2011 07:58

Gina Lolobrigida (sp?) was sex on legs.

Not old school Hollywood, but on the voice front (and face for that matter!) you can't beat Alan Rickman.

FellatioNelson · 22/12/2011 08:19

Paul Newman is lovely, but a tad too pretty for me. Steve McQueen looks tons filthier.

IwoulddoPachacuti · 22/12/2011 08:41

Jimmy Stewart was divine! You have just reminded me I must watch It's a Wonderful Life again soon.

When I was younger and I watched Some Like It Hot I really fancied Tiny Curtis, but when I watched it again a couple if years ago I have to say it would be Jack Lemon. He had that certain something Wink

IwoulddoPachacuti · 22/12/2011 08:41

Tony not tiny FfS! BlushHmm

mrsjay · 22/12/2011 08:45

ooo Alan rickmans voice he was also in a film years with juliet stevenson truley madly deeply , a brittish and more polite version of ghost , Its a beautiful film and Alan rickman made me melt into a heap sigh

redrubyshoes · 22/12/2011 09:00

Christopher Plummer as Captain Von Trapp is sexy. Those eyes that paint Julie Andrews face when he looks at her and you just know he was looking forward to corrupting a nun.

Meltysnowflakes · 22/12/2011 09:17

I was always quite taken with Trampas (Doug Mcclure) on The Virginian.

Was it an Irish thing? Most people I know have never seen the Virginian or Bonanza. (have many brothers so this possibly skews my experiences)

DeePanCrisPandEeeven · 22/12/2011 09:25

Oh I remember The Virginian AND Bonanza, Melty. AND I also have Under Milk Wood by Burton..cept on LP! Yes it's that old!

Sewilma · 22/12/2011 09:31

What about Omar Sharrif?? Those dreamy dark eyes...

Salmotrutta · 22/12/2011 09:33

Oooh we used to watch Bonanza and the Virginian too!! What was the Virginian's actual name??

I liked Blue in the High Chaparral too.

And as a kid I had a crush on the boy who played Jai (sp) in the Tarzan TV series:

<a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=manuel+padilla+jr+tarzan&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&rlz=1R2ADSA_enGB370&biw=1024&bih=391&tbm=isch&tbnid=Y_ou5PzuC2O7kM:&imgrefurl=johnshore.com/2010/12/04/i-dont-hate-christian-publishers-i-love-writers/&docid=peKx7qCk8aREDM&imgurl=johnshore.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/99zfKmZjmsgQdhw.jpg&w=354&h=443&ei=EfnyTrTvFIva8QPugpWdAQ&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=1688&sig=102544834954817158665&page=1&tbnh=88&tbnw=75&start=0&ndsp=17&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0&tx=38&ty=46" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Tarzans friend

Apparently he's dead now.

Salmotrutta · 22/12/2011 09:34

Oh yes - Omar Sharif. Full of Eastern promise!

OP posts:
Meltysnowflakes · 22/12/2011 10:10

I dont think The Virginian had a name. Or at least we didn't know what it was. All added to the charm. I fancied him for a bit, but went off him when he took his hat off. [shallow]

Salmotrutta · 22/12/2011 10:20

Oh yes, hats bestow a certain air don't they? [also shallow]

OP posts:
redpanda13 · 22/12/2011 11:16

Oh Fellation Nelson - Howard Keel. He could have blessed my beautiful hide!

Love him in Calamity Jane. Don't know why her and Katie Brown where chasing after the officer when there was a man like him around?

sozzledchops · 22/12/2011 11:54

Agree with Christopher Plummer as Captain Von Trapp, just the whole package there though could never buy that he fell for Maria.

Had such a crush on Gene Kelly when I was younger. Terence Stamp was crazy beautiful when young.

DeePanCrisPandEeeven · 22/12/2011 11:58

I quite fancied Marina from Stingray when I was a very small boy.Blush

MrsRhettButler · 22/12/2011 12:16

Ooh yes, captain Von Trapp. Yummy

limitedperiodonly · 22/12/2011 12:27

deepancrisp That's ok. I was in love with Captain Scarlet
