Apologies for posting here but we really need to get traffic over to Campaigns

As per the title, sorry for putting this here but we appear to have a problem with traffic to the most recent Mumsnet Campaign which you can find here

MNHQ is highlighting Every Disabled Child Matters' campaign to email David Cameron over the cuts to benefits paid to families with disabled children. If you prefer to go direct to the campaign you can go here and to find out what is happening you can go here

I've e-mailed. I added a bit at the bottom... "Please don't assume that because you personally didn't need Government help for your son, that others don't, they really do."

It's not fair to compare unlike circumstances and I feel very helpless to read what other posters have to go through in a day.... and with this hanging over them too.

I added my own message at the bottom too.

Please consider emailing, even if your family is not directly affected by disability. None of us expected to have a disabled child, cope as best we can, and will go on coping, no doubt with even less support than the little we get now.

I have emailed. I just don't get it - I mean from a purely cynical and self-serving point of view, how do they think that people are going to react to this? Even the most anti-benefit scrounger-hating people on here always add "but I agree with benefits for disabled children" because it's such a no-brainer that they need all the support that they can get. Why would he alienate the voters like this?

Obviously from a moral point of view it's completely disgusting and indefensible. But I don't expect much in the way of morals from politicians. Angry

Well actually there was a comment on the article they did about my family in the Independent, apparently this bloke has struggled himself so why shouldn't we cos apparently we're minted?!?!?! So that's nice.
