Of couse she is already in a relationship with him.

She didn't get pregnant again by him by falling on his ejaclating penis as he dropped the younger child home from his access visit now did she.

True sign of broken britain.

nursenic · 29/11/2011 16:21

Some nasty posts sound illiterate. Says a lot. Either that or they are frothing so much with self righteous indignation that they cannot see the keyboard clearly.

fickencharmer · 29/11/2011 16:22

Yes, nursenic seems to know the score. Best not to leave any of his clothes around your house . they do spy on people

usualsuspect · 29/11/2011 16:22

Lots of frothing on this thread and lol @ broken Britain

NinkyNonker · 29/11/2011 16:24

Dave, Dave, is that you?

nursenic · 29/11/2011 16:24

Benefit money is such a small amount that the loss of even £5 a week will have consequences. I do not know how people on state benefits do it and I take my hat off to them because I see regularly in my job, the horrible creeping effects of poverty and constant daily struggle to survive.

And it is not as simple as -'get a job, stick kids in nursery'. Don't they wish it was?

usualsuspect · 29/11/2011 16:24

I bet the frothers are bloody loving this thread

fickencharmer · 29/11/2011 16:25

the rich will like it if the poor quarrel on these threads. So be loyal to your group. The rich always are.

maypole1 · 29/11/2011 16:26

What is dave the name of her oh who she is claiming not to be wtih or t he name of the benefit officer she will lie to when she ticks the box that say sinle parent to get her dole

Winniepooh23 · 29/11/2011 16:26

Oh dear. You don't want to rush into anything but have two children together? Confused.

usualsuspect · 29/11/2011 16:26

Dave is the Prime Minister

HTH

maypole1 · 29/11/2011 16:28

nursenic no its as easy as don't pretend your a single mum when your not to get your hand on the hard working tax because their are real single mums out their who need support and maybe if their went so many liars they might be able to get extra

fickencharmer · 29/11/2011 16:28

Maypole The unfairest part of our society is at the top. Give them a good bashing if it makes you feel better

nursenic · 29/11/2011 16:29

I didn't claim CB because with us both in work, we could just about manage without it. but I would've claimed it the moment I truly needed it.

But I could never stand in judgement of somebody else claiming whatever they need to. There are always going to be some who claim what they should not. There are always some who do not pay the taxes they should either.

But the hurt caused to those on benefits by such nasty comments when they are already struggling with little hope of changing anything until their children grow will forever stop me from broadcasting blanket damning judgements.

maypole1 · 29/11/2011 16:29

usualsuspect I don't think david Camron is asking her to lie trough her teeth or making her have more children while she is on the dole so what he got to do with it

cantspel · 29/11/2011 16:29

We are a broken nation when families live apart due to how much extra they can claim on benefits for being a single parent.

Ditto for the fact you have 5 children being brought up in the benefits trap.

This is not just one single case, go and read the martin lewis benefit boards to see how regularly this type of post comes up.

fickencharmer · 29/11/2011 16:29

Maypole. Judge NOT and be NOT judged. This is not a courtroom. Try being friendly and you may feel better about things.

usualsuspect · 29/11/2011 16:30

I've read it in the Daily Mail

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 29/11/2011 16:31

"the rich will like it if the poor quarrel on this thread"

I didn't realise that you could see someone's income on here Grin

OP, if I was in your position, I'd look at what you are entitled to claim both as a single parent and as a couple where neither of you are working. With five children, you may find the difference isn't that much and it may be worthwhile having the extra hands as 4 children and a newborn are difficult by anyone's standards.

Its a shame that your decisions about whether to get back in a relationship with someone who you have two children with comes down to what you financial help you get.

ChristmasBreak · 29/11/2011 16:31

If he is also claiming benefits and he moves in then you will just have to claim as a couple rather than as two single people iyswim but I don't think it will make a whole world of difference to the money you receive.

Then again if he is not living with you then you are still technically "single" in the benefit-form sense.

I hope things work out for you; obviously the situation is far from ideal but you sound as though you are making a start towards trying to work things out.

fickencharmer · 29/11/2011 16:31

cantspel what about millionaires who dodge paying taxes?

montmartre · 29/11/2011 16:31

Of course fickencharmer- all groups are homogenous and no-one cares about anyone else living in slightly differing circumstances do they? Hmm

Please could respondants stick to providing practical advice?

BarfTheHeraldAngelsHeave · 29/11/2011 16:32

Arf @ broken nation / broken britain.

Do you not cringe a bit when you write that trite soundbyte bollocks those words?

usualsuspect · 29/11/2011 16:33

OP , you can claim as a couple

MadameCastafiore · 29/11/2011 16:34
