I would think that she could at least be charged with a public order offence.

WorraLiberty · 28/11/2011 12:52

I'm sure this will make it onto the news

And actually, her child needs taking off her quickly for his own protection as I'm sure that woman won't be able to walk down the street without being both verbally and physically abused by tomorrow.

WinterIsComing · 28/11/2011 12:52

"Nig... nig... Nicaragua or sumfink!"

Does she think it's in Africa?

That poor little boy Sad

GypsyMoth · 28/11/2011 12:54

Yes, I thought she must be 'on' something too

'its my British country' doesn't even make sense!

Heleninahandcart · 28/11/2011 12:54

Tarty that was it exactly, I know your intention was not to offend.

If you honestly never have to hear this stuff you lead a very sheltered life. No, unfortunately I'm very familiar with it. I grew up hearing this type of crap, I don't hear it directly to my face any longer as I moved to an area where people are careful what they say but it does leak out occasionally. Make no mistake, verbal abuse is still abuse. This is how some people have to live.

The very fact that some other posters on here don't get why posting a video of RL racism might be offensive beyond an abstract sense of right and wrong supports my point. This is real life abuse you are witnessing.

Good if this has raised awareness, but this is not usually how racism works. It's much more insidious, like not realising why posting a video of RL abuse might be distressing and offensive.

ConOfScience · 28/11/2011 12:54

she's a cretin.

that poor boy.

I am so upset by this footage, actually fighting tears here.

Sad
MillyR · 28/11/2011 12:55

It is now in the Guardian online, with a phone number to ring if you know who the woman is.

BupcakesandCunting · 28/11/2011 12:57

I'm glad that we now know who owns Britain. I had been wondering...

WinterIsComing · 28/11/2011 12:57

Good.

WinterIsComing · 28/11/2011 12:58

Eek - good that she might be identified that is.

EmmaRoyd · 28/11/2011 12:59

I don't think any guardian online readers are going to know the druggy scumbag

EmmaRoyd · 28/11/2011 13:00

but still good its online, hope it makes the news

BupcakesandCunting · 28/11/2011 13:00

I bet that the BNP/EDL are spaffing in their kecks ovr their new poster girl.

Angry
Abcinthia · 28/11/2011 13:01

Words fail me. She is completely vile. I feel sorry for her child and also everyone on that tram who had to listen to that disgusting crap coming out of her mouth.

GingerWrath · 28/11/2011 13:04

Could we have a link to the Guardian story? I can't find it.

WorraLiberty · 28/11/2011 13:04

Yes I think we can all see it's real life abuse there Helen

You're offended, by watching a video on an open forum...that no-one forced you to watch. Fair enough, you have your reasons for that.

But are you actually saying you don't think it should have been posted at all?

Kayano · 28/11/2011 13:06
Shock

I think she is vile and the people she was abusing behaved very dignified and put her to shame

That poor child. I can imagine she will get home and recount her experience of the nasty black people
On the train Sad

She should have been locked up

MillyR · 28/11/2011 13:06

I don't understand this issue that it should not have been posted. The news shows footage of people being shot, which is certainly real life abuse.

TartyMcFarty · 28/11/2011 13:07

No, I hadn't made the content of my link clear enough, and if I had, Helen would probably have avoided it. Don't think it's an issue any longer.

Shock fucking hell! I thought at first it was some seriously unfunny pisstake, its hard to believe there are such ignorant people out there. That poor little boy having that for a mother.

BrianAndHisBalls · 28/11/2011 13:12

I'd like to know who was filming it and why, ie was it a friend of hers or a concerned person on the train?

GingerWrath · 28/11/2011 13:15

Brian definitely not a friend of hers as the camera turns round a couple of times and the person filming is black.

CarrieInAnotherTWOBabiTWINS · 28/11/2011 13:15

that poor poor boy, i hope he can be saved from her somehow.

thats probbaly the most sickening thing ive ever seen.

esp the way he just sat there, justmust sware and go on at him all the tiime.

i hope the police look inot this

GypsyMoth · 28/11/2011 13:16

Yes Brian, and what had happened before to warrant someone deciding it needed filming?
