3 pairs of boots, GHD's and some stocking fillers

FredFredGeorge · 21/11/2011 15:14

Nothing

Tee2072 · 21/11/2011 15:16

He hasn't decided yet if he'd rather get Absolute Sandman Vol 5 or the new Batman game for XBox. So one of those plus something else I haven't thought of yet, maybe a new framed picture of our son for his office and, of course, silly things in his stocking.

HeartsTrumpDiamonds · 21/11/2011 15:17

My DH is really hard to buy for. He either has the thing he wants, or he doesn't want it IYSWIM. So I have told him that he is getting a Kindle and not to buy one for himself :)

I will probably load it up with some good books for him, just to have at least some element of surprise...

The worst part is that he is wonderful at giving presents and coming up with surprises for me!

StealthPenguin · 21/11/2011 15:18

www.yourhamper.com are good for getting a customized hamper in varying sizes. You decide what you want in it, the design, everything.

I've also got my DP aftershave, Anglesey Monopoly, Big Bang Theory Complete Collection 1-4. House Season 6, How I Met Your Mother Complete Collection, A remote control car that can run up walls, a stocking filled with little things from Hawkins Bazaar, a pair of Alien socks and a homemade book of vouchers entitling him to different things, e.g. One night of babysitting while he goes out with the boys, One day where he does no housework and I do it all, One sex session of his choice. One free massage. Things like that.

azazello · 21/11/2011 15:20

half an IPad. I suspect he might be getting me the other half.

GiserableMitt · 21/11/2011 15:21

A bottle of 18 year old Scotch, motorbike trousers and window tinting for his car.

Probably not particularly inspiring for you, huh? :o

Nothing. We buy something nice for ourselves declaring the respective items our xmas presents. Last year I bought got a Burberry bag, he got a new iPod. we were both very happy with our presents.

RoyalWelsh · 21/11/2011 15:24

I like these threads because this is the first year that I can afford to buy DP 'proper' presents and not decorate a glass we already have with glue and glitter so I have bought DP:

The expensive whiskey he likes
A book about more expensive whiskies
A bowl for chips that he had his eye on in Morrisons
Massage oil
A massage implement
Battlefield for the XBox
1kg tub of Haribo Supermix
1kg jar of jelly beans
3 x jumpers
12 x bottles of Innis and Gunn (favourite beer)
6 x bottles of red wine (so far)
Socks
Ummmmmmmmm. Other Stuff that I am planning to buy that I can't remember.

We're going to the olympics next year, so I bought him something to do with that.

headfairy · 21/11/2011 15:41

nothing yet, but we've got a £50 limit so it might be a PS3 game or some aftershave, or something for his bike. Or a combo of the above.

SmethwickBelle · 21/11/2011 15:42

Mine will be getting some clothes as he's lost four stone since May, he will pick them out, we'll go out sans kids and shop together for them, he's terrible for being ultra specific about what he wants - I've long since given up improvising!

valiumredhead · 21/11/2011 15:42

Nothing! We don't buy each other Xmas gifts.

pinkytheshrunkenhead · 21/11/2011 15:42

A massage implement - oh really Shock

MY DH is getting a lovely limited ed. print of the Rolling Stones for his study in our new house
a CD or two - reissue of a Stones LP and Ryan Adams
(Already have bought him a tweed jacket, some trousers and a cashmere wooly - spolied)
Boden underpants
Expensive socks

A headtorch which I was advised my MN on Father's Day but didn't have the time to organise - he laughed when i suggested it but have reminded him when he is grovelling on the floor looking under sofas for remote controls that one would be handy

SoupDragon · 21/11/2011 15:43

YABU.

TwoStepsBack · 21/11/2011 15:46

A laptop but it is his joint birthday / xmas present.

It will also stop him nicking mine when I want to be on MN so some selfish reasoning there as well.
