Asked DH why he was less affectionate to me.

He told me that my legs are 'awful' especially around the thighs.

I got upset and he then said that this was why he doesnt like talking about it.

The thing is I am probably about 1/2 stone heavier than pre-baby, am a size 10, fit most my old clothes apart from my 'thin day' clothes.

AIBU or should I appreciate his honesty (if not his tact!)

My dh does it too sometimes, goes on how i used to be a size 12 (am bloody 44 for God's sake) and am a 14-16. I hate having big boobs, anyone know how to get them reduced without surgical means?

I agree with the posters above who say that this is not about thighs. Most men don't really notice that much, when presented with a naked woman they love, the finer details of her appearance.
This is about something much deeper: his insecurities, your insecurities, his communication style, your communication style... if you don't get to the bottom of what it's really all about then it's the beginning of the end.
I suggest you go to him and tell him that you're still really hurt at his comment, and that if he wants to ever have sex with you again you'd like him to list 5 things he loves about you/or your body in bed tonight. If he can't do that, then time to think about getting rid of the twat.
