Damm right its selfish not cooking for DH. I don't deny it. He's vegetarian and I used to spend ages cooking vegi food only for him to moan it was shite and feed it to the chickens. He did that once too often so now I only cook meat dishes.

That's actually a really good forum with men (I assume) who manage to actually express coherent thoughts with feelings and humour mixed into it

See, I'm not a bad person. I eat meat and have collected so many classic cars over the years as to drive my DH scatty.

I even know one end of a spanner from the other and can change spark plugs, glow plugs, dizzy caps, filters, sort out electrical problems and numerous other mechanical things.

I've just had a quick look and I do think some of them are confused. One poster is talking about MN being the biggest site, the one that arranges local meet-ups etc - surely that's Netmums? However, he does say that the people he/his wife met were mad biscuit-stealers. So I spose it could be MN .

I remember when they did an invasion here thinking that it was going to be easy-peasy and they got whacked. I reckon some of them are still dizzy to this day from how they got whacked. It was wonderful.

Guys and gals, please don't judge all of PH on the basis of a few idiots.

Mumsnet does have meet ups organised via the Local boards I believe.

Don't worry Hilbo I won't. However I think they're judging all of us on the basis of one person who thinks her DP's dick smells like some other woman's vagina.

One of them linked to a thread on here about sexual assault. Yesterday 11ish. And since that thread started there has been an influx of trolls in Feminism and WR (which had stopped) and on threads about rape.

I know we have but I don't think MN is either the bigger of the two sites, the best known or the one that has the most meet-up traffic.

Pistonheads is actually a pretty good car related site if you're interested in cars. They're classified section is well worth looking at if you're thinking of buying a second hand car.

Like any forum though , including this one, you do get some idiots. tis the nature the interweb.

Judging by the sample thread on the link provided by Pictish I'd say they were a bit terrified. No wonder they've battened down the hatches, or do I mean floored it on the gas and gunned off down the road !
