to want to stay at home this christmas and cook for my family instead of going to in laws?

is this a common dilema? does anyone have the guts to say "love you all to bits but we want to stay at home this year - see ya!" tee hee.

human that sounds like a super Xmas. I remember one year when my mum had a rebellious moment and just reheated a huge chinese take-away she had bought the day before. It was ace, though my nan wasn't too impressed :o

hiding that's what we used to do before children came along. now we have three I feel it's high time we did it at home en famille - and some years, others can join us (although I would like some years to be just us - is that selfish?) Confused

It is so less stressful for me and when do get together at mine few days after I'm pretty lazy to more paper playes and everything brought ready made and just cooked or warmed up

Do make my own coleslaw though
