I texted my partner 5 minutes ago. Still no reply. . But he is at the pub, then going to watch Stoke V Man United so it might be a while until he tx back.

He eventually came downstairs and said, "why did you text me, ** ?"

I said because I felt like it. He said, "Very sweet."

I got 'samage x'

I have never had that reply before.

He is a middle aged man, really, not a 15 year old boy!

In his defence we do have a couple of them knocking about and have been known to converse in their teen-speak.

He's also just left work after a 14 hour day and did also phone from the train to see if I wanted Chinese so I'll let him off this time.

I got 'Love you too bug' in about thirty seconds and he is out at a party. Quite dull reading others replies!

I meant my DH's reply was dull, not other people's replies! Too tired tonight!

I always get love you more back. I will not be texting him tonight as we have had a row & he has sulked all day in bed. Fool.
