To ask you all to tx your partners saying 'I LOVE YOU' and let us know their replies

I texted my partner 5 minutes ago. Still no reply. . But he is at the pub, then going to watch Stoke V Man United so it might be a while until he tx back.

Mine wouldn't reply, as he is cleaning the house while I --do naff all- mumsnet.

If I'd text in OPs situation, I wouldn't expect a reply, at least until Half Time.

Will try this out later when DH is near his phone.

My dh would reply'Does that mean i'll get lucky tonight?

"that's a very good thing. I love my girl too." smile

"Good but what have you done wrong?"

Hmm. I just texted him and before looking at his phone he said ' have you just bought something?' (our bank sends an instant text when a payment goes through and he doesn't get many texts other than that!)
When he read it he did say 'ahh, I love you too'

Hehe, I can see him texting back (he's sitting behind me)

He says: Liar

No point, he hates texting and wouldn't reply unless it sounded like an emergency. He's lovely really, he just prefers actual talking to texts.

No point. OH turns his phone off and put it in a bloody drawer when he comes home

tittybang sometimes I make my OH say 'I wuv oo'. He tries to get away with 'Love you' but I insist.

Its just funny seeing a 6'2" black man say 'I wuv oo'

I'm not going to, as he is away and he knows that DD is staying at her mates tonight and I'm on my own. So if I text that he'll feel bad that he's not with me and although I wish he was here, no point in both of us being miserable.

Anywho, if I did text it, he'd reply, 'love you too'!
