To ask you all to tx your partners saying 'I LOVE YOU' and let us know their replies

I texted my partner 5 minutes ago. Still no reply. . But he is at the pub, then going to watch Stoke V Man United so it might be a while until he tx back.

No response. But now I think about it, I haven't heard any sound since he went to put 2yr old DD back to bed, 20 mins ago....yes, he's asleep.

I cant - Mine already text me about an hour ago to say "I really love you, forever". That might be something to do with being in the pub! Although we do tell one another every day.

So to take the spirit of the thread a bit further I've just hidden a note in his golf bag (he is playing tomorrow) saying "I love you farty pants". Ive never done anything like that before! He may kill me if he finds it in front of all the other players! :D

I did this earlier, not actually apropos of this thread. I got "just got off plane. It is 22 degrees and it's 2am!"

To be fair, he sent a text a few minutes later saying I love you and all that.

Just sent it to DH who is all the way in the next room.
Can hear him typing away -his response must be a bloody essay!

we've been married 3 years and I've been to the hairdressers today.

No text, a phone call saying he was coming home now to have cuddles with his wife.

Ha ha just texted DH and got this back: "There was a thread on mumsnet about that. I'm not falling for your trickery"

Mine refuses to have a mobile. Doesn't know how to use one, doesn't 'do' the 'phone, either.
He does tell me daily, that he loves me.

I got - I love you two with a kiss emoticon - and then a five minute convo on how fast his phone is.

I would probably get a message in morse code or something. Last time I texted him to say "love you" he texted me back in picture symbols 'gun' 'octopus' 'rabbit' 'gun' 'elephant' 'octopus' 'umbrella' 'snake'.

We have a silly competition at the moment to send each other soppy messages in some sort of code.

We tend to text each other gushy crap most days to be honest. If we've nothing much to say, we just say 'love u'. Sorry, I'm not usually so vomit inducing!!

But we text each other soppy stuff all the time anyway - yesterday just out iof the blue he texted me to say 'I am still so in love with you' - he's soppier than me [big grin]
