To be outraged at discovering a long chin hair?

What? When did this happen and who put it there?!
I have religiously checked my face and chin since entering menopause and discovered other random hairs but how did this one evade me until it reached at least an inch long?
Disgraceful ... and I blame the government.

I'm 40 and I started getting a few bristles in one patch underneath my chin about two years ago. It's revolting isn't it. I pluck them out using tweezers with a light attached that I got from Amazon to make it easier to see them.

Neck hairs are worse. How do they get so long?

pffffffffft you wait til you find white eyebrow hairs. And not only are they white, they are sharp as needles

Mind you - I'm fair at least and no obvious grey hair (yet!!) so maybe the white eyebrow look will take a bit longer

Salmo I LIVE for the day that happens. I have chin hair, neck hair, weird alien white hairs that grow OVERNIGHT out of my cheek and, to ring the changes, my SHOULDER. And I appear to be cultivating pubey looking hairs on the inside of my thighs that seem to be creeping ever closer to my knees. The hair on my head, however gets thinner by the day.
How is this fair?

Those chin hairs can't possibly grow normally. When they appear, they are usually a good length already. I reckon they're implanted during the night by the turbo hair fairy. Mine are also dark and coarse, despite me being fair... All the better for people to be able to spot them at 40 paces.
Yup, pubes starting to get a sprinkling of salt and pepper and I noticed a white eyebrow hair the other day.

Number of grey hairs on head (which I wouldn't mind at all) = NONE!

I went to the doctor in a panic due to a mysterious lump on the edge of my nipple.
It was an ingrown hair.

I had an unusually long hair on my arm a while ago. What's that all about? Kept catching sight of it thinking it was a stray then realising was attached. Did actually get very attached to it - was going through a rather stressful time. Would sit stroking it!!! Now it's just disappeared. No more have arrived. I miss that hair .....

My Mum was rather hirstute & I seem to be going the same way.

I'm grateful that I'm quite fair so that it doesn't show as much Mum's did, definitely getting hairier with age though.

I can remember being MORTIFIED by my Mum on the beach, to be fair it was the seventies, when hirsuteness was the norm but I wanted to DIE when she put her cossie on seemingly oblivious to the nest of spiders legs that had set up home in her crotch.

My mum & sister told me about the under chin hairs acouple of weeks ago - I am now living in fear of them! I am 41.
I've never had much in the way of hair (down there!) so will look bald if that goes!

I've noticed one on the side of my nose that seems to grow at top speed. It's completely white and very thin and I pull it out when it catches my eye. It must be an inch or longer and seems to sprout overnight... very odd!

I've had jet black chin hair since I was 16. Lots of it. But then I have PCOS.

I get a neck hair when I'm due on, always in the same place. I check for it regularly, but when I go to bed it's not there, I wake up 6/7 hours later and the bastard is there and a good inch long!!

I get a spout of black hair under my chin when I'm due on, I'm 30...this has been happening since mid 20's (woe). I also get the weird 'supernatural' long hair that sprouts miraculously over night .

I also have the same fucking nipple hair that sprouts 2 days before my period, at least it's consistent. Plus, I have grey hair on my temple (I call myself rogue) that has been there since I was 20!!!

On the plus side, as of yesterday, I'm single again...I blame the supernatural hair
