Threading is the way to go. Bloody painful on the prairies that are my sideburns though. At least I don't have any sturdy or black facial hair - yet.
I have three white bristles on my neck that I'm constantly checking for. They've disappeared now which is a bit unsettling. I was off work a while ago so let them grow just to see how long they'd get. About a centimetre and gently curved. I would gently tug them from time to time. It was grimly fascinating. No one said anything but they probably noticed.
Since finding a fine inch long hair on my eyelid three years ago I constantly monitor that area. It's only returned once.
To whoever said something about failing eyesight - yes, it's a bugger.
The fine black hairs that occasionally sprouted round my nipples that didn't really bother me have turned white and coarse and definitely bother me now. I can feel them but can't see them clearly enough to pluck. If I use a magnifying mirror the ends of the tweezers clash on it. It's one of the biggest frustrations of my life.
I could ask DH to help but that would be too humiliating.
Yes, to back of thigh hair. Yes to grey pubes. Yes to white brow hair.
A magnifying mirror and tweezers would be my Desert Island Discs luxuries. If I was only allowed to take one of them I'd probably kill myself.
