TYANBU (technically YANBU) but obviously the bum in question would only look bigger by the thickness of one pair of pants and the tights. I am assuming that one pair of pants would be worn.

The solution is to wear stockings. Much better all round.

I used to know someone who ALWAYS wore their knickers over their tights to stop them falling down. Now, I thought that was a bit , would be very uncomfortable, and probably wasn't very hygienic. But I have been pondering it for a few years and it occurred to me that two pairs might solve the problem...but simply cause another one to do with bum-size...

usualsuspect, I also used to know someone who went commando and I was always concerned when she wore jeans about a pube/zip related incident.

My friend's cousin did this on a night out. She was walking up some stairs, looked down and realised that the outer pair were round her ankles

i would think alright that that would happen with the shiny layers. you also need to give yourself plenty of notice for the loo no last minute dashing.

I always thought wearing knickers over tights was to keep them up because they were too small - not too big.

I just get extra large size tights and pull them under my armpits. It keeps everything in it's place

How thick are your knickers? Mine are only a few mm, and a few mm on my bum would not be noticeable!

pretty thin mostly, but the crotch and the elasticated areas are significanlty thicker.

Also, I think one must take into account the extra air trapped between the layers.
