They deleted what I considered a valid thread because a few people failed to understand the point of it and chose to overreact and get offended instead. Perhaps I should try and remove any thread I disagree with? How do I go about doing that?

I cannot understand how any intelligent, sane person could think that using paedophile as an 'example' in a debate on the evolution of language ON A PARENTING SITE would be acceptable and would not upset anyone.

An intelligent person wouldn't do that STDGis... That's the whole point. Only someone who is a bit of a Walter Mitty character with an inflated sense of their own importance and intelligence would do a thread like that?!
