There's so much choice. Obviously I'm a sucker for a bad pun. But I love the variety of names on here - great song lyrics, obscure references that I feel compelled to go off and google (and never google again in the case of dragon butter), bizarre word combinations and so on.

There are some notable exceptions but normally I make an assumption that if a poster can't think of an interesting name then they won't have anything interesting to say.

Quite frankly if you can't be bothered to read my highly interesting and thought out posts then it's your loss, and if you can't be bothered to read my boring mundane one's then it's your gain.

I just was forgetting I was in mummsie mode and commented on another thread I'm pleased to report I wasn't ignored though, and another poster actually responded very sensibly to me.

I will be keeping mummsie to use at a later date just in case I want to annoy you I come over all hun - y.

Just because you admit later in the thread that you were in fact BU , it doesn't disperse the queue of people waiting to reaffirm that YABU, you can't just make it stop when you feel like it

Know what you mean Mardy. I always like amusing names as it shows the op has a sense of humour about them. Will read anything though hence reading your post

I actually really like that, Dorje. Irritatingly however WitchHazel has been used already, although the person who has registered in that name doesn't appear to have ever posted. I will have to think of a variation which is not WitchHazel2 (since that would apparently out me as being tedious and predictable!)

I'm new....and it took me at least a whole cup of coffee to think of this name......although YummyMummy120 was in my top 5 ;-)

I actually had a dream about changing my MN name. This may be a sign of too much MNing.....

Must admit I do like some of the cool names, but still doesn't make me any more/less likely to read the posts they write.
