to ask how many pairs of knickers you go through in a day?

DP has just text me saying he is putting the washing away and most of it is my knickers.

I wear 2-3 pairs per day and I don't think this is unusual or excessive...

Surely knickers in bed hinder access???

Or is saucy removal of said knickers all part of the fun?

pigletmania · 12/08/2011 19:22

Why? Do you have incontinence? I only go through 1 pair a day, unless I am on my period.

chocolateyclur · 12/08/2011 19:25

One pair a day, unless it's a warm night when I sleep in knickers and nursing bra - then a fresh pair for the night too.

peeriebear · 12/08/2011 19:25

One pair a day, and only wearing in bed if on my period. otherwise get some air to it!

Shodan · 12/08/2011 19:26

"Or is saucy removal of said knickers all part of the fun?"

Absolutely. Sometimes I put a lolly in between each layer too.

midnightexpress · 12/08/2011 19:27

sucky-in I think Shelling peas - knickers that suck yer bits in. Grin

rainbowtoenails · 12/08/2011 19:27

I think it's sad that so many women see their healthy vaginas as 'unhygeinic'.

scottishmummy · 12/08/2011 19:28

run a vagina awareness class the.know thy minge.dont be afraid of the bear

boudiccasSideKickakaMAM · 12/08/2011 19:31

None. Too damn uncomfy nowadays, unless wearing a skirt of course. Change bottoms (as in trousers etc. not actual backside you understand) every day.

catgirl1976 · 12/08/2011 19:38

[Shodan] sounds brilliant! I may try it :)

madmomma · 12/08/2011 19:52

ooh I take any opportunity to change my knickers and I don't care if it's excessive. I just love the feeling of fresh pants. I appreciate that probably makes me a loser. My mum used to put talc in my knickers before I put them on, to keep the 'clean knicker' feeling for longer, but then she found out that it was linked to ovarian cancer so she stopped. I still wish I could do it now...

SchrodingersMew · 12/08/2011 19:57

2 pairs. A new pair after each shower. Occasionally it will be 3 pairs if it's a hot day and I have 3 showers.

ShellingPeas · 12/08/2011 19:59

@midnightexpress - thank you for that! Was worried it meant something else

ScatterChasse · 12/08/2011 20:02

Generally one pair a day, but up to 6 if on my period, because I wear two pairs at once.

Sometimes I'll change them after a shower if I shower in the afternoon/evening, it all depends.

ClaireDeLoon · 12/08/2011 20:09

One pair.

I don't sleep in knickers even if it's my period, I assume those saying they do use towels rather than tampons/mooncups?

I only wear pjs to lounge around in, I take them off before I get into bed, otherwise I get too hot.

Schulte · 12/08/2011 20:21

Talc in knickers? Sounds grim. Doesn't that feel funny?

michelleseashell · 12/08/2011 20:24

I have to wear knickers in bed because of wearing a nursing bra. Being in just a bra and no knickers makes me feel unusual.

Otherwise hell no knickers in bed.

Fuck off socks in bed too. Who wants hot feet?

So two pairs of knickers a day as I can't sleep in my day pants. They're not grimy, I just don't want to wake up to a new day in old pants.

If anyone wants to wank over that tale then I don't mind. Whatever greases the wheels.

michelleseashell · 12/08/2011 20:27

Has to be M&S knickers to sleep in too. They make the best uns.

susiedaisy · 12/08/2011 20:33

Yeah another fan of m&s knickers Smile

madmomma · 12/08/2011 20:40

no, talc's the way forward

Sidge · 12/08/2011 21:20

None.

I don't do pants.

Unless wearing a skirt (rarely happens) or a sanitary towel (rarely happens).

NotQuiteSoDesperate · 12/08/2011 21:27

1 pair a day. Used to sleep naked, but now am oooooold and need to use a Tena so wear knickers at night :(

DoMeDon · 12/08/2011 21:29

How could anyone wear knickers in bed?? Why!?!?

orienteerer · 12/08/2011 21:30
