If you're interested though, we actually have a higher gun ownership rate (or at least we did a few years back when I looked at it) than the US and much lower homocide statistics, so I have never been entirely convinced of the direct correlation between the firearms/homocide stats.

Just think that US does a much better job of legislating its' citizen's allowance to protect themselves, and at the same time not punishing law abiding citizens who use firearms as tools for farming and hunting.

Tiredmum, you'll have no luck on Google Earth I'm afraid. Even the nearest city to us is a clump of trees at closest view. No "streetview" here as of yet in the actual middle of nowhere! :)

Well Xmas is over with for another year, took the tree and decs down yesterday. It actually went really quick this year

Will send you pics tomorrow if we get out Tiredmum. If you open a file and it's just a pure white screen, you'll know where it came from. Planning to take our decs down tomorrow, despite the fact that DS thinks we should leave them up all year round.

Nooooo you can't keep the decs up all year I thought I might have missed them still being up but nope I do not I am glad they are gone, I have already started to blitz the house.

Ds1 was sick this morning, he says he feels better now, typical eh they've only been back at school 2 days.

Hope DS is doing better now Tiredmum.

Decs down now, I'm glad, but DS is not. Nice to have them up but so much less clutter once they're gone!
