Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tiredmum, Elmo, valiumredhead and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

Hmmmm I wonder if vanilla pudding is egg custard?

My lasagne was made with minced beef - ds's favourite apart from salmon! Grin

CheerfulYank · 22/09/2011 18:38

I have made those before! But not with vanilla pudding mix, I bet that's delicious.

DS and I tried to make cinnamon rolls yesterday but used gluten free bisquick and it didn't roll very well. So we ended up making buttery cinnamon-raisin lump cake. :o Very good it was too!

valiumredhead · 22/09/2011 18:40

I have American instant dessert envy now! Grin

Dear God, my 10 year old is driving me up the wall this evening with homework, I'll end up half demented at this rate! Grrrrrrrrrrrr!

CheerfulYank · 22/09/2011 18:44

Vanilla pudding

It is a custard like dish, I suppose. No eggs in it though. All pudding is custard here. Cake, pie, etc is dessert. :)

CheerfulYank · 22/09/2011 18:46

Ugh, school work. The student I work with at school is working on counting back change. It is going to drive me to drink, I swear!

valiumredhead · 22/09/2011 18:47

Pretty sure we don't have anything like that here yanky, more's the pity.

We have an instant thick custard but that is vile!

valiumredhead · 23/09/2011 16:35

Does the repairs in the shop, and when i rang him he offered
to come to our house and access the damage Smile
Fingers crossed he will be able to fix it for us.

Sooo glad its Friday its been a week of ups & downs here.

Teaandcakeplease · 23/09/2011 19:51

Can I suggest you download this little beauty here? it clears all rubbish off your machine and helps it to run faster I find. But it does delete cookies, which is fine as I know my passwords. I love this program. My PC is from 2004 and runs as good as new and I've used ccleaner since the day I bought it.

elmofan · 23/09/2011 19:56

Thanks tea xx i have that on my pc since last year when you told
me about it Smile
My pc is low on ram & memory and google chrome
keeps crashing on me so i might have a virus aswell :-(
I really hope it will be able to be fixed without
costing too much. Pc is three years old.

Teaandcakeplease · 23/09/2011 20:16

How often do you run it?

P.S. Download this and run it.

Teaandcakeplease · 23/09/2011 20:18

I bought some sticks of RAM and replaced them myself in my machine a while ago, it's made a huge difference. I think I bought them from scan.co.uk Trying to save you some money. Geeks can be costly.

OP posts:
Teaandcakeplease · 23/09/2011 20:28

BTW what antivirus do you use? Some can slow the machine right down. Trendmicro I used to love but in the end it just got too big and slowed my machine down too much. I'm using Norton this time and it's fab. PC much happier.

Sorry 1 post after another, my brain keeps dumping new thoughts. Blush

Thanks tea xx
I have ccleaner, malwarebytes&spybot and i run each of
them twice a week.
McAfee is my antivirus and also does a weekly scan.
Something is turning mcafee off though so i'm guessing
virus /trojan and i use google chrome as a browser.
We are useless are tecno stuff Blush
I would be terrified to touch the pc tbh so i take my hat
off to you replacing ram sticks x

CheerfulYank · 23/09/2011 22:26

I am totally useless at computer stuff. Totally!

elmofan · 24/09/2011 17:29

My pc has been taken away for repairs & to be upgraded.
Repair man is to phone me tomorrow with a price

How is everyone? weather is lovely here today.
Did you all hear about the satellite crashing to earth
In Canada? Shock

gomummygo · 24/09/2011 18:35

Am still here! :) They know it has crashed, but so far still unreported as to where. There is a lot of land in this country that is unpopulated, will be interesting to see if it is found right away.

Hope your PC repair isn't too costly!

Have finally gotten onto fb, and yes Tea your status did show up! :) Yay mn'ers!

What are you all up to this weekend?

Teaandcakeplease · 24/09/2011 20:22

Is it wrong that I want to buy Obama2012 accessories? Blush LOL Not sure they ship to Britain.
